My Thoughts:

Endless Ocean is a day one buy as I liked the first on Wii, and it is a new shiny Switch game in 2024. Indika, I will have my eye on, as it's one of those Triple-I like games that could be a real gem or a miss.

PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs, I played on Stadia and I'm going to say it, it's better than 99, if you liked that then you should check this out. Maybe one of the 9th of May indies will grab me with Little Kitty, Big City being the most likely and I feel that's doubtful.

Lorelei and the Laser Eyes feel is a day one as well this month, and Read Only Memories: Neurodiver on the same day is one that I may check out.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is possibly the start (heard that with Starfield) of Xbox putting out games and of a high quality, which I think this might be a GOTY contender, so certainly will check it out in some way. System Shock now coming to consoles and getting a physical does make it more tempting, I look at footage and I'm like urghh, just as I liked BioShock & Infinite feel I should maybe check this out.

Love there's Atari 2600 games coming out, even if not for me. Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game is listed on both PSN and XBN to come out 28th May, yet the games' website says June 4th, so who knows and I will say I've enjoyed Ghostbusters from this team. Just the price of Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game without a physical at the moment is off-putting, that a sale on PSN is the most likely way I get it.  

This might be a Switch heavy month for me surprisingly as I'm not getting Paper Mario yet due to Endless Ocean, Little Kitty if I was to get it, Lorelei and think I'd end up playing ROM there as well due to the rest being played on Switch.

What about you guys?

I'll probably be getting PMTTYD, but not in May - might end up on a "later" list. Actually determined to finish the N64 Paper Mario now I've bounced off Jet Force Gemini.

So yep, I'll be helping myself to a hefty dose of TTYD this month. I'll also be putting Lorelei straight onto the wishlist and probably playing it as soon as I'm done with Botany Manor or the like. Finally people have been saying good things about Animal Well, but from what I can see it looks like a creepy stealth game? Which isn't particularly my jam. I might read some reviews for that.

Managed to miss that in the list somehow.  Hmm...  I think it's a really sweet-looking game.  I don't think a cute cat will manage to cause quite as much hilarity as a relatively expressionless goose, though, and I don't know if the tasks will be any more interesting.  So this might be one where I wait for reviews, but with some degree of excitement.

The idea of Endless Ocean has me a little giddy, the idea of chilling in the ocean seems pretty neat, think I'll aim to play my unused Wii copy first though to get a feel for it and go from there. Lastly I'd kind of like to get Daymare as I've had my eye on the previous game for a while as an option for my eventual but more likely never happening streaming series of scary games.

Paper Mario is the biggy for me, though I'd planned to get SMRPG and the first Paper Mario played first. So it might be one I buy but don't play right away.

It's just as well I probably won't get around to it then, I'm more aware I'd rather play the Switch game anyway, there's just the little part of me telling me I should actually play a game I've already bought.

Totally missed Animel Well, that's an easy play for me with being PS Plus.

Only new thing I've missed for May from what I can see is XDefiant, that's something I guess.

The weekend of May 25/26th, June will be going up the month of Video Games Showcases and releases such as a f2p Star Wars game, Konami retro collection, Monster Hunter HD port, three expansions to games which one could be GOTY worthy on its own right and a few Switch exclusives even one from SEGA.

Don't think you'll be saying crap, when June goes up, and you see one of the expansions.

I mean, if the highlight of a month is DLC for a two-year-old game . . .

As someone that's not played it but from what I know feel this expansion is along the lines of Phantom Liberty last year, that it's a pretty big deal and could be it's own game.
