It's just occurred to me that the current tagline (which for posterity is "The Year Of LuiGiNamer") works much better if you pronounce GNamer as "Gee-Namer". Do you, though?

Gee-Namer. I pronounced NGamer as Enn-Gamer, so the pronunciation tradition lives on.

Guh-Namer for me. Reminds me of Gnawty the beaver from Donkey Kong... even though that's pronounced with a silent G.

I used to say G'Namer until I realised on a train - it was Enn Gamer, so this dear site should be pronounced Gee Namer. So that is how it goes down.

Since there is no dash the G is silent for me.

Gee Namer as NGamer was Enn Gamer.
Or gh-namér.

Using Jaster Logic, NGamer was called 'Gamer'
On this subject, will newbies think the forum is called 'Namer'? Look at the newish logo for the forum, there's no 'G' that stands out - just throwing that out there...

What a castard!
Nah they'll only miss that if they don't have eyes as the forums section header clearly says GNamer.
Anyhow, Stu chose the name so if we aren't saying it like him then we're all wrong.

They'll learn. Anyway, I think the G in the bottom left is pretty obvious - "GNnamer" seems a more likely mistake.

Anyone ever had Gnocchi to eat?
Apparently, it is pronounced Nok-ee.
Using Italian cuisine as my proof, I agree with Jaster!
