| You have my sword!
I'd be happy to provide a controversial opinion that almost everyone ever would disagree with! |

| I'm open to this. We did a 'cast on BP which was terrible, but I'm sure I can use that experience in some capacity. |

Like you did in Admintendo 2? Anyway, I'll happily contribute to this, but if it's a "three or four" thing, perhaps you should go with the first people to respond? In which case I'd happily take part in the next one! |

| Wow, loads of people up for this! I think i'll need one or two of you to do a test run with me on Sunday evening, just on the technical side, and once we know what we're doing I'll start thinking about when, who and how to do the real thing.
In terms of who gets to be on it, I guess it'll be a combination of first come, first serve and whoever is free on whatever date we decide. |

| Up for this next time, if the 1st go is a success. I'm helping with the next admintendo, so that is more enough for me at the moment. |

| I don't know if I'm high enough up the pecking order for this, but if you ever need someone to sit in the Michael Grimm role, I'm totally up for talking about vidjagames. |

| Quick question, how will this be edited? As ye don't want it to be overly long & spiral out of controls either. |

| You'd ideally want to have minimal editing - set a timeframe with room for some leeway either side, and have a good host who can steer us back on topic when we start going off on insane tangents, but who recognises when some of those tangents make for interesting conversation. I think podcasts shouldn't really be edited, to be honest. It'd make it seem less natural and more like a manufactured product, which let's face it, we won't be anywhere near that professional. I'm not available for the test run tonight Buska, sorry! |

| I agree with Jay on the editing thing. Obviously I'll cut out long silences etc but for the most part, I hope we do go off on a few mad tangents! |

| Regards editing, it's best if it's huge chunks that get cut out rather than sentences- cutting out, say, my comment in a discussion but keeping in Jay's and Buska's wouldn't work, but deciding that we're going to discuss topics A, B, C and D and ditching C in its entirety at the edit stage is a different matter.
EDIT (ohoho): Also I may be able to test-run. Skype is nu-beemoh. |

| I still don't think I'm a suitable podcast speaker. I'm a very spontaneous person most of the time, but likely prone to stage fright.
Good luck with the first test, chaps! |

Cheers Stu! I basically just wanna check that the Skype/ Audacity combo actually works. After that, we'll set a date when the first four GNamererers are free to record this bad boy. And make a little plan etc. |

| I really do look forward to hearing the end result. Thoroughly enjoying all aspects of Admintendo as I do, it'll be great change to sit down to this as a listener. |

| Right, so . . . just had a little chat with beemoh. He basically made all my ideas sound shit and explained how we should actually do it :p . . . We'll just have the chat over the ol' Skype and he'll record it from a second device. So that's fairly simple. So now we need to work out when the four of us (me, Andy, Beemoh and Jay) are free of an evening and what the podcast will be about. - Timetable jibba jabba:
So assuming we'll do it one of the evenings just after Christmas, I'm free from seven at the latest every night between Christmas Day and new January 1st, apart from the Friday.
- Topics of discussion:
So I figure we'll open with a review of the Year of Luigi; all the Nintendo is Doomed business, the new consoles, the Nintendo Directs, maybe have a Game of the Year each. Then we'll do a bit of what we're looking forward to in the new year and that. Then we'll open it up to questions, the stupider the better.

- Spoiler:
I won't be available until the 29th, after which it's pretty much plain sailing until new year's.

| I could do the 29th, no bother. - Topics of Discussion:
Maybe start off with what we've been playing over the Chrimbo period? Then jump into a broad year review, talk about Ninty's prospects for 2014, the Big Black Boxes of Power's launches and what we're excited for in 2014.

| I'll be visiting parents around that time and probably won't be free for a week or so then. If you want to pick the next name I can wait til next time! |

| I only put it in spoilers because I thought the post would look huge and annoying without them. Yeah, a standard "what we've been playing" would be a good start. And the 29th looks good so far, apart from Andy. But going much earlier wouldn't fit everyone else (and would be Christmas, which I guess is for family or whatever), and I don't want it to be 2014. - andyman949 wrote:
