| Lost all interest because no gamepad inventory
I already own Minecraft on PC, PS3 and Vita. I would have bought it on WiiU too if it had that feature. But alas. |

| This isn't really about minecraft but they seemed to tout like many other devs it having the off TV feature as the big thing, anyone else find that a bit annoying? Off TV is nice to have but I think that stopped so many developers from doing lot's more with their games on wii U. |

| That's probably true Jas, but I have to admit I use OffTV a lot of the time! In my backlog, the WiiU games tend to be the ones to save until the TV's in use. (er, therefore, it's my fault) |

| I don't see why the gamepad couldn't be used as an inventory/crafting screen and simply fall back to using a single screen for offscreen play. The two don't need to be mutually exclusive. |

I've used it a fair bit as well, mainly for VC games but OR brings up the main reason why I find it so annoying when a developer does this not that every game needs to go all out. |

| It just makes so much sense to have inventory management on the game pad, such a major over sight that could have made this worth the wait. I'd possibly buy if there were enough people for it still, I do like it but it feels like a few friends would make all the difference. |

| So it seems this is going to be £20, that's £7 more than anywhere else. You can buy it physical for that price too. Anyone still considering it? |

I said this ages ago that this is the most expensive version of the game which is on everything else under the sun even Balla could play it on Mac. |

| Why's it so expensive on Wii U? Is it because you're getting the skin packs as part of the game? Hardly seems worth that price increase, if so. |

| There's meant to be £30 or so of dlc in top so I doubt it. |

| Minecraft on Wii U is officially the best selling digital download on the Wii U in Japan with 77,000 downloads which could be compared to the PS4 version which has been downloaded around 155k .
That's with out everywhere else in the world but I would gather that would be considered a success for the game but also makes me think of all the other games that came before it that the next highest Splatoon is under 77k which doesn't sound many for a system with a install base of 3m in Japan.

| Yeah but Splatoon probably sold a lot better on disk than Minecraft.
Anyone else excited for Minecraft the Movie? |

| A free update with a load of Super Mario skins? Yes please! (Is 'skins' the right word? ) In any case, a physical release is also coming. The pile of money that Minecraft has earned will rise another foot or two off the back of this, I'm sure. |

| I was always worried that Minecraft on WiiU was going to sort-of be an also-ran; it's nice to know they're putting so much effort into updating the thing. Really, we should've all bought it, and built a giant stone Grackler together |

| The free DLC stuff looks great and the first thing that's tempted me to try Minecraft but then it being on Wii U also doesn't due to the online stuff. |

| No, but only people I would play with would be you guys and we stopped playing likes of MK8.
When I did my article about Wii U online most games were dead, I know this has been a huge success on Wii U but if I went for it on PS4.
I know more people that may have this and online will likely will be more active and PS4 not going anywhere any time soon.

| Maybe online will be alive due rumours from tweets that the Minecraft Account posted which have since been deleted etc seemed to hint at Minecon we may get news of cross-play, not sure if that be 360 to ONE to PC or will include other systems from rivals like how the tweet was suggesting.
