Exactly my point! If I got it without realising then I never appreciated it! I lost that hour and I won't get it back
Can we just stay on BST all year please

No, because that would be the sensible thing and this is Britain.

I tidied my kitchen today. With some careful arranging I managed to free up two whole cupboards' worth of space and I am delighted.
I'm so old.

No, I totally get where you're coming from. I've been setting myself one job to do around the house each day and you really do get a sense of satisfaction from keeping your living space in order.

Pull up a rocking chair, Jay, plenty of room in this old folks' home now that I've tidied it up.

Crows. I like crows. They're really clever birds, they use tools, and their colour scheme (or lack thereof) appeals to the edgelord who still has Absol as his favourite Pokémon. Also, the Yorkshire Crow.

There's a park near my work where I sometimes eat my lunch. I befriended a crow there last year to the point that as soon as I arrived he'd fly down and hang out with me expecting food. I even made a start on training him to fetch. I think he migrated for winter or something but I've been seeing more crows recently so I'm hoping he'll be back soon.

Aw wow, crow-friend! Any distinctive markings, or will you just have to hope they know you when they return?

I don't think I could recognise my friend by sight, but it recognised me before.

I'll probably be the only white guy in the park, so even easier than that!

Even though this is obviously going to the wacky shtick, I immediately felt guilty about it.
But while talking about things you really love, I did also get to go to a "nature"; difficult to describe without sounding like a 5 year old kid, but: I saw a rabbit and then a deer and then an owl and then some more rabbits

I love seeing animals and that.
I take lots of pictures of lizards, snakes, weird bugs, fish, crayfish etc when I'm out hiking. Sometimes I see foxes and tanookis but I've never managed to get a good pic of them.
Send a picture of a cute lizard to a girl- turns out she is deathly afraid of all reptiles.

Dump her. Lizards are ace. Owls are ace too. Nature in general is ace. I should watch Springwatch really.
