No but I never saw them on CVG either thanks to the ol' adblock.

After checking the standard site they seem to be there too they can be told apart from our own links as they are bolder & underlined.

In the meantime, we at GNamer recommend the use of adblocking software, while realising that this isn't possible for mobile browsers.

EDIT: Okay, I think I've fixed it. Simple option in the control panel. I wonder whether there's been some large-scale Forumotion reversion to default settings? Given that the online indicators have also reverted to "special mode".

Could be. I've been unable to access the site (and post) on my BlackBerry recently because a stupid advert pops up directly over the box you type your username into.

I could get it to work by stopping the script from loading fully, but now that doesn't work either.

Woo! I'd actually advise against advocating adblocking software here, if only because it harms the home of this forum, Forumotion. So I'm happy this has been sorted.

Anyone checked out the default gallery of avatars forumotion have available? Amused myself for a good ten minutes perusing my way through them.

Having bunged my Simpsons avatar straight into my profile, I never even knew there were a set of defaults to choose from.

Me neither, until I was fannying about on the profile settings a few days back. They have an impressive selection of Matrix avatars.

Fixed! I just used tinyurl.com to shorten one of Phillips' bargain links.

New today: we add a new rule to Forum Rules (see if you can spot it! ), and we disable sig links to Skype, Facebook and Twitter. Only one person here discovered them anyway.

Nah, being careful about personal info is wise, especially with Facebook. With Twitter there's still a level of anonymity you can uphold but that's removed with Facebook.
