And yeah Balla, these speedruns come from a charity marathon they do twice a year, hence the talking throughout. Next one is coming up in January, and I'm very excited about it.

Yep, I'm really enjoying watching the charity speed runs.

Without a doubt, the most exciting speedrun I've ever watched.

It's a speedrun race between four players blasting through Super Metroid. Three of the players finish the game within 15 seconds of each other - two of them within a second of each other. It's brilliant and makes for exciting viewing.

CosmoWright recently shattered the Ocarina of Time speedrun record - he beat the game in 18:29.

So the OoT record has been beaten it's now just over 18 minutes

AGDQ 2015 has been live for a few days now!

The highlights have been uploaded to YouTube so far, including, unbelievably, a marriage proposal.

I think I post about this every time it comes around, so why buck tradition?

It's well worth tuning in - these guys and gals know their stuff. I think the Tetris block, the TAS block and the Super Metroid and Super Mario 64 speedrun races will be cracking.

I really do like catching some of these, the Metroid Prime 2 is one that stands out for me.

Ever since I got the the platinum trophy for Bloodborne I've been watching a few speed runs of it and it really makes me want to try it, also it's interesting to see how those have evolved because routes have changed a bit because of glitches etc being patched out.

Souls speedruns are always impressive, so I'd imagine Bloodborne would be similarly impressive!

Sonic Boom is coming up shortly on SGDQ, which I reckon will be a hilarious speedrun. Come watch!
