| I seen this asked over on Retro Gamer and realised that, in all the time I've been here, I don't this has ever been brought up as a topic. Has it? Does anybody know why you're treesmurf, or why you're masofdas, or why you're Fronkhead, etc etc?
So, your username: what are you all about, ya mad rocket?
~
The Cappuccino Kid is in tribute to the mysterious liner note writer for the old vinyl releases by The Style Council, an English pop/synthpop/funk/jazz/house band from the 1980s. They're fucking brilliant.

| Well, I was Buskalilly but I kept coming on here pissed and got a bit of a reputation so it became Drunkalilly. Now, as for where Buskalilly came from... I've been using it since I was a kid. It was basically just a funny sounding word that I'd shout, for example, when jumping off the library roof or cannon balling into a swimming pool. |

Bit of a stark contrast there between those two... |

| Mine exists solely because I was obsessed with gundam seed at the time, and I stuck with the name mostly because since then I've grown too used to it to call myself something else combined with the fact I've always been awful at picking usernames for myself. Better Athrun888 than "Lord Dragon Meister" or suchlike for forum posting I figure. |

My uncle used to go out with a woman who played with The Style Council at some point. She was a total bitch and wouldn't take her sunglasses off when she met me and my family. MUSIC FACT My username is a vague allusion to drinking yourself into oblivion with the happy bonus that it is alliterative. What fun. |

| Mine is convoluted.
When I got back into gaming after a big break for uni, I decided to enrol on Nintendo UK's very own forum. My usual Internet handle of 'Bally' had long since gone, so I tried a few back-ups, none of which worked. Some odd bit of inspiration mixed with desperation made me type in the ridiculuous-sounding 'Zero Jones'. It worked, and here we are! |

| Slazo was the name of the weekend episode of an imaginary show I used to host (had a Z in it for attitude or somesuch). When the DS wanted me to come up with a handle it came to mind, and I've used it ever since. |

| In the musical Assassins by Steven Sondheim, there's a character called the Balladeer who upholds The American Dream™ in the face of a bunch of mad murderous bastards. I don't uphold The American Dream™, but I do like Sondheim and I do play/write music. Hence! |

| Mine comes from a spelling mistake due to not liking masofdis, so it became masofdas with the mas = master and das = daster instead of disaster.

| Why 4-4-2? It's a solid formation, but for a bit more flexibility in midfield I'd have went for a 3-5-2. |

First formation in my head, most likely. |

| I like 4-3-2-1. Have my queen up front, with the two bishops behind her for maximum flexibility. |

| So, at first my username came about through the weapon 'Vidofnir' which was impressive in Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones. Later when I was in Sweden visiting friends we got on a boat which was also called Vidofnir so I asked them what it was all about and they told me about some norse mythology.
Apparently it is some sort of golden cockerel that sits on top of a tree watching over the integrity of the world. I found this hilarious so I took the name for myself.
Also 4-1-3-2 is a great formation. |

| I used to be MD1500. MD = My initials. 1500 = Roman Numeral value of those initials.
However, I kept applying to join NeoGAF and they kept rejecting MD1500. The name they finally allowed me under was "Axisofweevils" (took 6 months!). I have no idea what possessed me to choose that name, but there you go. As a result, a lot more people started calling me Axis.
When it came time to make a NNID, I thought MD1500 would confuse all my new friends, but the old friends didn't know me as Axisofweevils either, so I took part of both, and here I am, Axis1500.
