What do we play the most? (3DS)

This is like 305% stolen from SONM, but hey, you don't know that...
So, now that the 3DS has been out for around 4 and a half years, we've had plenty of time to play some quality games on it. But just what game do we play the most? That's what I'm here to find out.



To get involved, all you have to do is open your Activity Log and post the Top 10 Gamesyou find (if you've played less, just post all you have played). Don't include any apps which aren't games (AKA, Camera, eShop ect.). Since Streetpass is becoming more fun centered, include that too.



In order to keep the totals balanced (and to stop the mad ones who spend literally weeks playing Animal Crossing   ), we have in place TWEWY's Rule. This means that, if only one user has played a game, only 25% of the game's total time is included. If 2 users post a time for a game, 50% of the total time is included. In order for all of a game's times to be included, 3 or more users must post times for that game.



As we go, I'll update the chart, which will appear in the second post.

So, unless there are anymore questions, I think it's time to get started.

Dragon Quest V

Released in 2009 for the Nintendo DS, one user racked up almost 56 hours on this game. Not too shabby for a DS game.



Pilotwings Resort

A launch title for the 3DS, this made it to 7th in my top 10.



The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX

Two users entered times for this, leaving the final total at 17 hrs and 15 mins.



Dragon Quest VI

Another in the series to be re-released on the DS, only with a slightly higher play time (obviously...)



Bloons Tower Defence 4

I blame myself solely for this, I had a bit of an obsession a few years ago...



Advance Wars: Dual Strike

Another DS game, the other entry in this series mentioned didn't quite make it into the top 20.



The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

At present, the only Zelda game exclusively for 3DS, the newest 2D Zelda cropped up in two top 10s.



Pokemon Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby

The first Pokemon game in our chart, but will it be the last? We'll just have to wait and see...



Picross DS


Like I said, Picross is a personal favourite of mine, and it's great to see an entry in our chart (even if it isn't the one I entered...)



New Super Mario Bros. 2

Just missing out on a spot in the Top 10, this golden wonder racked up a total of just under 30 hours.



Here's where things start to get interesting...


Pokemon Black/White 2

A second entry for Pokemon in our chart, but seeing as only one entry included it, it ends up with a measly 36 hours.



Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

The latest entry in the Monster Hunter series takes 9th spot, with one user having a play time of just under 212 hours!



Pokemon Black/White

A third entry for the Pokemon series in our charts, knocking in a time of 65 hours.



Bravely Default

This RPG had two entries, bringing its total time up to just under 66 hours.



Mario Kart 7

Again, an entry that I'm solely responsible for, I just can't understand why no one else seems to have played it...



Pokemon X/Y

You people certainly love your Pokemon, with the fourth and final "regular" Pokemon game in our chart coming in at 5th with a shocking 301 hours.



Pokemon Shuffle

Hey, I said regular. This free to play pokemon seems to have been received well over here, racking up over 310 hours.




Super Smash Bros. 3DS

Coming in at third, the latest smash game is clearly just as popular on handheld as on console, as between us we've added to a total of 337 hours.




Streetpass Plaza

Clearly we all enjoy laughing looking at other people's miis, as between us we racked up over 860 hours!




Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Seriously, what is wrong with you guys. Over 1000 hours on what, an excuse to escape reality? Is that not what the internet is for? Anyway, 4 users contributed to a total play time of 1031:59

8: Picross E - 52:16 (Picross is a particular favorite of mine, and the sequels are somewhere further down)

Hah, the TWEWY rule. Back on the old NGamer forums on CVG, that wouldn't have been a problem for TWEWY itself - there were a fair few users who'd put hundreds of hours into that game.

I've only had my 3DS less than a year, and all my TWEWY playtime was on my DS so I sadly can't contribute for that game. Having said that, here's my 3DS playtimes:

Hm, we've had a few threads like this and I've never felt that able to contribute, because I lost my first 3DS and all the data on it.  I'm sure that KIU doesn't have a quarter of the recorded playtime it deserves.

I have 6 consoles, so it tends to get shared around, but my main console has the following:

I've put 60 more hours into it than you and then you can multiply that by 5 as that is how many consoles I play it on! That would put me at about 700 hours on Shuffle! Not bad for a game that cost me nothing and I am still enjoying it as much as I did at the beginning.

That is unreal, OS. I've no idea how you're still enjoying it - ennui set in hard for me, and I'm not even close to your playtime.

Absolutely love it. The grinding on Meowth can get tedious, but my obsession for getting every S-rank and all the best Pokemon maxed out shows no sign of abating. I have every Pokemon of power level 60 and above at Level 5 and now, 4 mega Pokemon at Max and many more close to it. I want to get to the point where any challenge that comes up is met with a Max level team. I can't speak more highly of the game.

We've had threads like this in the past but I've got same issue as Balla as when I went to my New 3DS I had to start over.

2. Animal Crossing new leaf - 72:34 (it kind of bugs me this is so high)
3. Sujin Taisen - 55:30 (I don't care what anyone says this is the best puzzle game ever!)
4. Ghost Recon Shadow War - 46:26 (Easily the best launch 3ds game for me)
5. PES 2011 3d - 37:27 (That's quite a lot for a PES that had a broken master league)
6. Resi Evil: Mercenaries - 31:16 (The very first 3ds game that blew me away with it's 3d, I love it!)
7. Resi Evil Revelations - 29:08 (The last good Resi game for me)
8. Super Smash bros - 26:08 (A brilliant pocket sized version of smash)
9. Zelda: Link's Awakening DX - 25:54 (My favourite Zelda game, I have a thing for games that break the norm in a series OK)  
10. Legend of Zelda: A link between Worlds - 24:51 (This was the best game on 3ds for me until MH4U showed up)
