| This came to me the other night whilst reading about Uncharted and playing Uncharted, about Video Game movies and who would be a Dreamcast for a movie of a game, I'm not sure about the whole cast but if they made a Uncharted movie then Nolan North himself could be a good pick but a fan-favorite which I can only agree with is: I'm not sure who I would cast as the other characters, but I hand over to you guys who would play your favorite video game character or charterers in a movie. |

| Aye, Fillion would be perfect as Nathan Drake. Looks and definitely would act the part. Unlike some people... |

| Legolas Orlando Bloom as Link? Scarlett Johansson as Samus? Robert Downey Jr. as Falco?

| Not an actor suggestion, but something' dawned on me about Nate there: = But seriously, I think you're right mas - In fact they probably deliberately decided for Drake to be a bit Filion-esque. - Off topic quickly:
Alternatively let's get a quirky Little King's Story mini-series up and running. Mostly shitty child actors for the king and the majority of the princesses, but made up for it by Patrick Stewart as Howzer, Rowan Atkinson as Kampbell, Jim Broadbent as Skinny Ray, Melissa McCarthy as Princess Spumoni, and Christina Hendricks as Princess Ferne *passes out*

| That's on-topic, Jimbob! Reading the OP, it doesn't suggest that it's the "who should play Nathan Drake" thread.
...I recognise that I may be the only person here who's more interested in "who should play Kampbell". |

Cool! I was trying to think of another mainstream action hero or game that fit a movie (the answer of course is NONE), but couldn't actually think of anyone to play e.g. a rebooted Lara Croft, or even Joel from The Last of Us. So I could only think of obscure games that might be given a second chance on the big/small screen. Hence LKS or A Chibi-Robo series! Based on the original of course. It'd be mostly voice actors: Travis Oates (the current voice of Piglet) for Telly Vision; Billy West reprising his Zap Brannigan voice for Drake Redcrest; John Di Maggio doing a crap pirate voice for Captain Plankbeard; someone not from the Middle East or Indian subcontinent as the Great Pekoe; Kirsten Schall's dorky Sophie. And of course the live action acting actors, with a surprisingly muted John C. Reilly as Mr. Sanderson, and of course Christina Hendricks as Mrs. Sandseron *ohgoditshappeningagain* |

| The Vice President, and lead character, of Citizens Of Earth has that really deep level of stupidity that could only be successfully played by Will Ferrell. Brother would be John C. Reilly... and now I'm stuck. |

| The last thing I want to see is Fox and Falco oiled up and playing volleyball. Anthony Edwards can play this chap though: |

| Nah. I don't really rate Maisie Williams as an actress. I think Hailee Steinfeld from True Grit would do a much better job. Failing that, just cast Kurt Russell with an eyepatch as Ellie. He can play Wolf and her. |

| She was great, what happened to her? Jay, surely your Slippy selection's a shoe-in for Prince Tricky? Or would that be pre-self-parody Shia LaBoeuf? Here's a big one - who'd play Sissel in Ghost Trick? - GT Spoiler:
Or Yomiel, whatever.
Also inb4 Jimbob suggests the redhead with the tracts of land to play Lyn. |

I was thinking Hugh Bonneville for Professor Layton, but the Prof is a younger man... |

| Who would you cast as Samus? I reckon Milla Jovovich would be up to the task. Either her or Charlize Theron. |

But she managed to make one of the most turgid female action roles in Avengers Assemble almost bearable. Okay, so that's a lie. But I still think she'd be good. |

| Jovovich & Theron are the better actors though, the former especially so when it comes to action roles. |

| Yep, I don't watch a lot of films. I'm sure I must have seen something with Theron in, but I don't think I've ever seen Jovovich in anything. |

| Jovovich's biggest claim to fame is probably the Resident Evil movies. I'd be up for Scar-Jo as Samus though. |
