| I wonder how well its gonna do? Is that mad Undertale hype still a thing or has the whole world calmed down as much as our Jay? |

| Japan supposedly went pretty bonkers over it when it was translated and first ported across, so I'd imagine it'll still be fairly popular over there for folks with their Switches.
I think there's been a reasonable amount of time since its launch that a fair few folks will pick it up to replay it on Switch. It's definitely not at the peak of its popularity, but it'll do just fine on Switch, I reckon. |

| I've seen a little bit of UT merch in the otaku quarters of Japan, not on the scale of home-grown content though. |

Looking it up, it apparently outsold a Dragon Quest game on PSN, which is bonkers for Japan. I'm looking forward to when Clyde "Mato" Mandelin - he of Mother 3 translation fame and all around top guy - puts out his article on his Legends of Localization site about UT as it should make for good reading. I can't remember if I've linked this before, but here's a good article on his site if you've got a spare five to ten minutes. |

| Skimming that, it cements one thing in particular: the Undertale fandom is fecking terrible. |

| I don't know what it is about Toby Fox, but his works seem to attract the worst kind of fans. The obsessive sort, I suppose, if you were to class it as something - like Rick and Morty, to use a more recent example. It's a shame as UT really is great, but I think its fans kicked the arse out of it somewhat to the point where Toby Fox actually had to come out and say "guys, it's alright if people don't like my game, honest". |

I only remember seeing t-shirts and badges and stuff, but I'll keep my eye open next time I'm in Akihabara. |

I know since this you've posted you've seen things but how often are you going to see a fangamer physical game in Japan? Which leads me to this, much like Jay |

Don't I know it. I'm a Homestuck fan too. Quite a few people probably made the crossing... |

| That's mostly what I was alluding to outside of UT, yep. I feel sorry for him when it comes to releasing his next game though - it's bound to get countless comparisons to UT. I hope he makes it about amorphous blobs on a beach or something, although I bet somebody will still find a way to go "Lifeguard Blob is JUST like Undyne" or something. |

| I guess this can go here!
The UT twitter is teasing an announcement of some sort tomorrow - Toby Fox has talked about his next game potentially being set in the same universe, and I'm super intrigued to see how this pans out tomorrow afternoon.
According to Toby's own Twitter, if you've got a completed save file for the PC/Mac version, you should boot it up tomorrow... |

| So has anybody played Delta Rune yet? Any good? Does the episodic format work? One I reckon I'll be trying out this weekend. |

| Yeah, I'll be giving it a shot soon enough myself if I can tear myself away from RDR2. From most accounts, it seems like a good step forward building upon some of the idea from UT. |

| This talk at the moment is making me want to play Undertale but it's just getting to it at some point is the problem. |

| We've just made it to the field, and... what? What??? - What:
First off: do my choices matter? I'm now super-confused as to that. The bait-and-switch at the beginning was brilliant, but I'd be very surprised if our avatar didn't come back at some point.
Second off: is this an AU? (Is this just fantasy?) I suppose it must be, but I'd be surprised if it were that simple. It can't be the future, can it? Can it???
Third off: still waiting for the point where Susie becomes a sympathetic character.
Fourth off: we're adopting a pacifist playthrough this time around, buuuuut I wouldn't be surprised to find that's no longer the way to the 'true ending', or that it bites you in the behind later on. Toby's too tricksy to make that 'the right approach' a second time around, surely.

| Finally started, I'm not far into it at all like I'm just fighting a ghost which looks awfully like a pillow or a punching bag in SMASH. It does seem good from what I have played and hope to continue and get that platinum trophy. |

| I misread "Im not far into it" as just "Im not into it" and thought we might have some drama on our hands. Glad you're enjoying it though. |

| Hooray, Mas has found a game he enjoys on Switch! It's a top title, I'm glad you're getting on with it. And... I can't say any more because basically the entire game is spoilers. Keep us updated! |

Playing on the glorious VITA (actually PlayStation TV but I think from what I've played it be better on handheld due to the art-style). |
