Yesterday I Ate

I nearly ate a Cadbury's Boost cake bar (individually wrapped) but it was already open as was the whole pack! Not happy Mr Cadbury. This is the second time it's happened.   

A double bacon cheeseburger from a new american-style eatery that recently popped up, It was so good my heart literally skipped a beat with every bite.

When a burger does that you better think twice about eating it.

Wetherspoon's opened in town on Tuesday. Woke up a bit hungover from Monday night Worms session, went for a beer and burger for brunch. Kept drinking through until tea time, then had a steak for tea. Since then, I've been for three more meals there. If my life is a sitcom, thats the little coffee shop/ diner/ bar I spend every other scene in.

A slice of chilli and cheese bread. It was surprisingly spicy!

KFC, the food of the gods.

I had office-sponsored wild boar ravioli. Too much salt and rosemary to taste anything else.

In this case, that's fair!  

Not Just Yesterday but the whole week as I was with the GF and was on holiday.

Sunday out for mine and Nan's birthday I had Sirloin Steak & Chips, Choc Fudge Cake with double cream for desert, Nan had the same can't remember what the rest had.

Monday Rump Steak & Chips, Choc Brownie with Cornish Clotted Cream, GF had the same as it was 2 for £30 with a bottle of wine.

Tuesday Burger & Chips for lunch, GF had Jacket Potato. Dinner I had Chilli Con Carne, she had new york chicken wrapped in bacon with a BBQ sauce. For Desert we had a Share Size Chocolate Sundae which I think I had 75%off.

Wednesday 12 Buffalo Wings with spicy chips, She had Chicken skewers. We had some garlic bread & onion rings on the side.

Thursday I cooked chicken nugget things which I put with some rice (what I had in cupboard).

Today/Friday Gourmet Burger & Chips, GF had Salmon with salad.

If I bought one of those I'd probably sit there drinking it.

I can't stand Domino's, so the thought of a vat of their sauce is making my stomach turn.

Oh, man, I actually want to buy that...

(Today I ate) pasta and tomato sauce.  During the course of preparing which, I cut my finger on a tin, burnt myself several times, and got tomato sauce over myself, the table and the floor.

I hate cooking.

DIGRESSION ALERT: It's a frozen one from Dr. Oetker, who always sounds like a forgotten Bond villain to me.

and hopefully I won't cause that level of damage to myself/the kitchen. 

Lots and lots of lamb. I means LOTS!! (among other stuff as well but mostly LAMB!!)

There was a birthday party for the bosses kids yesterday and well with them being Greek there was a fuck tonne of food there

It would have been yesterday, had the router been working at home. However, on Sunday, I had a beet bourguignon. Yes. It was pretty tasty, actually, although a bit odd at first.

For those who, like me, have no idea what a burningnun is: it is a fancy stew.

On topic: Yesterday I ate spaghetti bolognese but despite not having braces anymore I still chopped it up and it like a true country gent. Which naturally leads me to ask, how do you guys like to spaghetti?

It is basically a posh stew made with wine. It's Superman and Lois Lanes favourite meal and subsequently their code word to let each other know they're okay in a crisis. As a result, I order it whenever the possibility arrives. Unfortunately, I don't actually like it much.

Yesterday I had a KFC and today a McDonald's.

I've just been eating some spaghetti (among other things), which made me think of Ducky's post here. I actually cut these up, which is not something I usually do. Normally it's "sluuuuurp", with the occasional bite.

Also beef bourguignon is "da bomb", as they say.

Last night was the bakery teams Christmas party which me and 3 others didn't go to as where not old women who only talk about there grandchildren.

So we had a mini party in work and ordered 4 papa johns pizzas (I think XL)

Which were:
Festive Feast Pizza, Ant's Choice
Chicken Club, Ben's Choice
The Works, Ant's Choice again as he was paying
The Mexican, My choice

The last two were amazing especially the works with the garlic butter dip thing.

We didn't manage to eat it all though I think about 6-8 slices were left in total but still means we ate over 3 XL pizzas which were delicious.
