Roy from Fire Emblem isn't even the best Roy in Smash Bros. He's probably not the best Roy in Fire Emblem either if I wasn't too lazy to find another one.

I know it briefly came up in the Discord chat* but I'm surprised no posts about super pack 3. With London! It's exactly 1:1 like real life London! Actually it's pretty charming, can't lie.
But: I got a bit fed up with people whining about the graphics, as (a) I don't normally care, and (b) some of the new tracks look absolutely amazing - the Christmas one and Maple Treeway just in this last set; but actually the London and Berlin tracks do look a bit GameCube, like they've sanded off anything that can get them sued.

I enjoyed the third track pack quite a bit, actually. The Christmas one was a grand time indeed and one of the highlights in my humble opinion. I never really got the graphical complaints on any of the track packs so far, but I did notice the previous two packs having a distinct lack of antigrav/underwater bits. I can't say I noticed that same issue with the third track pack - Boo Lake was a nice surprise for having that big underwater bit, for example.

They were ok but I've not really been wowed by them, the Tour tracks feel a bit messy in my opinion, too many random directions without the creative signposting you'd usually see in Mario Kart tracks. I might play a bit more tonight as I could just need to get used to them like I am the original tracks. I would put the Christmas track as my highlight despite saying it wasn't that interesting purely because its Christmas.

I've enjoyed the excuse to get you guys playing Mario Kart, and having more tracks in rotation, but so far few of the new ones have climbed high up my list.

If there's one thing we can all agree on, it's that no new track can reach the peaks of Grumble Volcano

Boo lake is probably my favourite out of the new dlc packs.

It's Maple treeway all day for me, looks amazing and races well too. The tour tracks are pretty bad, would not like any more added thanks.

This happening makes the track even better.

Finally played this lot with the family. Maple Treeway is still excellent and a standout, but my favourite might be 3DS Rainbow Road. The Tour tracks do some interesting things (Berlin Wall Whomps) but are still mostly bad. Merry Mountain is okay, felt too short. Give us three laps!

A trailer for Wave 4 showed only one track, but it's apparently new and it brings an additional character, so that's cool.

Is it weird I didn't notice Birdo was missing?

I genuinely didn’t notice Birdo wasn’t in it either! But then I only ever choose my Mii character and drive about in my cute Sonic The Hedgehog costume, to make myself feel sexy.

Yoshi’s Island looks like an imaginative idea for a track, looks fun in the footage. I’ve not been blown away by any of the DLC so far though. Has anybody? It’s good to have (and especially as a bonus part of Nintendo Switch Online), but on it’s own merits I think it would as a whole make for a lower-tier Mario Kart.

It's been pleasant and nice, but I couldn't name a track from the expansion which would trouble my top 5 or 10 from the main game or the original DLCs, besides maybe a couple of DS courses purely for nostalgia reasons.

Ah, the MK7 Rainbow Road maybe? I suppose yous are right though.
But the Yoshi's Island track does look awesome - now (as per a previous discussion) for a Mario Kart track that's based on a mainline Mario game!

This is becoming the new Smash Bros. Fighters Pass for me, in that every new trailer in a Direct makes me wish they'd put something else in that space. At least it's not three minutes to headline the showcase like Smash used to do.

Still: yay, Birdo! Or not Birdo per se, but I've been thinking how strange it is that we haven't had any new characters or car parts, so this is a step in the right direction there. As for the courses, Ninja Hideaway is quality and I won't hear a bad thing said about it. The rest are shrugs at best, but my family like spotting the landmarks in the city courses so that's nice I suppose.

I'm also in the camp of giving a thumbs up to Ninja Hideaway. But, since then they've not exactly blown me away with any of the additions. Still, a totally new track is a great move and it does look like an ace one.

Trailer and dated for 9th March (Missed opportunity for Mar10 for this).

As I've not played DS, Wii or Tour a lot of new tracks even without Yoshi.

Happy with Waluigi Stadium and DK Summit, also I'll be in Singapore in a month, so I look forward to judging the courses accuracy - though I'd say Amsterdam looks very different to my experience

My experience of Amsterdam is limited to a stag do 7 or 8 years ago, so . . .

3 city courses is it? My family will be happy at least, but
