What kind of whisky?

Spirit of Louisiana. Nice taste, doesn't burn like the best whiskies though.

I got the chance to try a 50 year old Jura a few weeks back, glorious. You a big whisky guy Buska?

Now and then I get the urge. I'm not knowledgeable or anything but I like what I like.

I'm the same. One of my mates is mad for it, and frowns heavily on anyone who doesn't drink the "right" sorts of whisky.

I know the sort you mean. Luckily, most of my lot are satisfied with standard Jack Daniels etc.

If you're ever looking for a JD alternative, this does the job nicely.

Yesterday I had a pint of Stone Dead, which I chose purely because it was 6.66% proof. It turned out that it was a stout. Stouts are bad for my taste buds - I couldn't finish it.

It made me wish that pumps had a sticker on them that said what sort of drink they contained.

I can't stand dark ales, which is a shame, because they always seem such a classy beverage.

I had rooibos tea for the first time in ages. Can anyone recommend how to drink it? I tried it with milk and sugar, like regular tea, and it didn't really work.

Urgh, I'm not a stout fan. Too stodgy for my liking.

Saved me the trouble there.  

Two Jack Daniels and cokes, two gin and tonics, a Jaeger bomb, most of mas' Jaeger bomb and one last gin and tonic.
Didn't even feel it to be honest, I think I'm turning into an alchy... it was a ghost town out last night anyway for some reason.

I drank two screwdrivers (vodka orange juice) whilst out with buska and about 1/4 of the jagerbomb, I need more booze to mange those.

I've got this visual of you sipping a Jäger Bomb like a fine Cognac in a Gentlemen's Club. Very sophisticated.

I'm mad for Jäger Bombs. I'm very stupid when it comes to how many I buy of them too.

I only do Jäger and Jäger Bombs when it's a hefty night out (i.e. a big occassion, like a birthday). I'm not mad into them - it's usually just pints for me.

Incidently, the last three days represent the first time I've not been out at the weekend in some form in a couple of years. It's pish.

I love Jäger Bombs too, unfortunately the price you pay to what you get just doesn't seem worth it.

The pub I work in charges £4.90 for a 25ml shot of Jäger and a can of Red Bull. Which is scandalous. On the other hand, one of the pubs I occasionally go to in Ayr sells Jäger with some sort of energy drink for just a pound. Round here, you've just got to shop around - I usually strike a balance between cheap pub and nice pub. If I can get a decent, clean pint for around three quid in a place with a bit of atmosphere then I'm willing to pay it.

The Kid's got it right. Especially with things like Jaeger bombs, you'll normally find at least one joint that does some sort of offer.
They're a good way to start a wild night. But when the night ends up being more dead than a Wii U Black Ops 2 lobby, they're an odd choice.

Ouch! That's a crazy price! Fortunately the SU cheap nights leave them around £1.50 per bomb so it's not too bad. On the same nights though a Vodka and Mixer is only a pound so I'd rather get them.

It's nowhere near that cheap where I am, though a few of the clubs have everything at a pound a couple of nights a week. Bollocks to clubs though.
