| Presumably you've all seen this in some form or other? The man's dedicated, we all know that; however I don't like that his employees felt the need to force themselves to be as dedicated. And bad things hidden behind buzzwords are still bad things. (It is, of course, common in both the industry and in Japan in general. That shouldn't be an excuse.) |

Those things were similar to what some other Japanese studios have done with employs speaking out about it after they've left, it does seem to be a culture thing with some pushing it a little bit to far like locking away the games director in a room on his own. |

Allegedly. Plus do we really need this creeping into every single thread? ---- Also I don't see how balla's post celebrates Miyamoto in any way unless the intention is to show he is human like everyone else. |

| I'm not as bottomlessly optimistic as Drunka, I'm afraid. I just saw a Miyamoto thing and dumped it in here. (looks around in fear of 7-Second-Banhammer) |

| It doesn't Jas, just pointing out though that this is nothing new. |

| The article already mentions that this is nothing new for the industry as a whole. |

| Unacceptable.- This thread is about positive energy. Save yo' drama for yo' mama, Balla.
- That is a massive cultural issue in both Japan and the games industry, and while it is problematic it certainly doesn't taint Miyamoto personally enough that you should besmirch this thread.
- Mas, next time you force the Konami discussion into a thread where it doesn't belong I am personally going to track down Kojima and kick him in the bollocks.

| The Konami thing went along with Ballas post though as it was a similar thing and that people could go further then Shigsy or be on a worse end. |

| Just in case future Internet historians look upon this thread and go "Eh?", let the following be known. Balladeer originally posted it as part of the 'Shigeru Miyamoto is brilliant' thread in the GGD forum. After the discussion you see here - plus some thoughts from masofdas and Drunkalilly in the The Purpose Of A Forum thread in the GNamer Community forum, Balladeer requested that the original news item he posted be split off into the GNamer Gaming News forum. That is what took place. |
