| I hadn't watched one of Bratterz' 'Here's A Thing' Eurogamer videos until this one.
The voice actor who didn't know he was in Fallout 4
Really interesting look behind the scenes of video game publishing and their relations to voice actors, which makes a very strong case for the need to unionise within the creative (and all) industries. Definitely worth a watch, if only to gawp at how ridiculously actors are treated. |

| It's an interesting one and the video brings up Ashly, who is coming back to voice Aloy and Shannon Woodward being super excited about being in The Last of Us Part II. Those are both Sony first party games which would have a lot of financial backing behind them but why is it those seems to be perfectly fine and Sony (more lily Guerrilla and Naughty Dog) can meet the actor's demands.
But Bethesda can't and Square Enix seems not to be meeting the demands meaning no Ashly as Chloe. |

| I've been watching these since The Shaggerz started putting them out, they're all well worth watching. Sometimes funny, sometimes shocking, always just a bit interesting. He's a good lad. Crap at ordering pints though. |

| I watched that after you tweeted it out Muss - riveting watch. I can understand Bethesda choosing not to tell one of the supplementary voice actors who is there to voice some incidental town NPC dialogue, but not the villain for the first half of the game! Mental. |

| While we're at it, here are some highlights from earlier Here's A Things:
Nintendo Using NES Hacks
Why Dwarf Fortress Was Killing Cats
Nintendo and the Yakuza
I can also imagine Zero and Balla enjoying this maths-heavy episode on Pokémon's catching mechanics |

| That Dwarf Fortress one was mental. I want to try the game itself, but am shit-scared of the timescales in learning the mechanics! |

| Finally had enough time in front of the laptop to watch the video there. Thanks for that, Mr. Muss - astonishing scenes. What I'll have to do is go off and research if similar things happen in the film industry - I'm inclined to highly doubt it. It's all about getting a fair wage/reward for the work you put in, and making sure everything is to the right standard - the anecdote about the team asking Phil Lamarr DIGRESSION ALERT: Whom I know best as Hermes from Futurama, not... Samurai Jack, was it? to be strung up for his motion capture without a proper stunt team is simply unacceptable. In short, the video games industry needs to change. Still. |

| Actors, including voice actors, are treated better in the film industry. It's the animators and the like who get the short end of the stick. As described here, in a particularly bad example. |

| That Dwarf Fortress one was pretty cool. I like games that have intricate systems that you can just kind of watch, it's one of the joys of city management games or things like Prison Architect. Those Dorfs take it to a whole other level though! |

| From a PlayStation site but Push Square have done this on female lead game characters also it fails to mention as well that Chloe is also Indian which they could have also touched on. |
