My Thoughts: Another good month for Switch and if all these games come out we will have 63 retail games in the UK for the system by the end of the year. Of the ones coming I will be getting Gear.Club, which I was hoping others would be as well and I'm getting one other Switch game that's XC2 Collectors Edition. LEGO Marvel 2 is a maybe but the Switch has a few LEGO games already that are cheaper and I own LEGO Worlds which I'm yet to play, Syberia 2 is a maybe if I get the first and so is Superbeat Xonic EX.
On the other systems I've only got Okami HD (why no Switch version Capcom ) preordered which is like £15. Hello Neighbour is maybe which I've liked the look of since it was announced but I can see myself playing it once or twice and getting to the basement and not going back. PUBG is also a maybe, I wasn't even thinking about getting it as a digital only title but now it is getting a retail release, I think I might because if I don't like it I can trade it in.
Sum up it's Gear.Club, Xeno 2 and Okami HD with a few maybes with PUBG being the most likely of those.

Game wise nothing of the digital stores part from the Monster Hunter World BETA and no other thing I want either. I've not added it to the list but The Game Awards and PSX both happen in December.
What about you guys?

The Last Jedi and that's it! Time to put the backlog where it belongs... unless something irresistible appears on the eShop. I have a feeling we'll see VS Super Mario Bros in December, for example.

XC2 will be one for a quieter month of releases, I feel. Much like Zero, it's backlog vanquishing time for me!

I don't know if we will get quiet months anymore with Switch and being so far into the genartion with the other systems.
I think January which should be a dead month, I can think of about 6 games that take my interest.

I may get XC2 later one I've braved its predecessor. Otherwise, if you've not played Okami before... GET IT. I have and so will be abstaining.

I'mma be all over Xenoblade, and I'll be watching Star Wars with my family just after Christmas I expect.
I'll also be enjoying Monster Hunter Vicariously through the lads.

I have and will be again for £15.
I don't think I've been this exited for a BETA and joining Jas, Jay and Andy hopefully hunting those monsters.

Can only echo Jimbob's Okami-recommending sentiments. Remains one of my strongest Wii memories - both for the utterly gorgeous blossoming of Shanshu Field, and crashing the Wii when I failed to complete one of the remote-swishing challenges sixteen times in a row.

Pretty empty month, but lets be fair here, if Xenoblade is even half of the eighty hour long predecessor most people won't be needing or wanting anything else anyway!
I'll probably indulge with The Last Jedi, otherwise nothing this month. Nothing newly released anyway, plan on snagging some more PS4 games and a ton of books though, can never have enough of those.
I'll also throw my redundant voice behind Okami, one of the best Zelda games of all time, and on the Playstation you won't have pesky motion controls to deal with!
Hmm, actually now that I think about it I never did finish the PS3 HD release, maybe I'll snag the PS4 one! T'would save getting the PS3 out again and one can never throw enough money at Okami.

All over Okami. Never played it and the Wii version was on my radar, but PS4 version would be preferable if it's motion-free and in HD.
If/when I get a Switch, Xenoblade 2 is definitely on the agenda. Although I'd never play it - still not got further than 40 hours in to the first one.

I don't know about going for Okami when I've already got it on PS3. There's the extra faff of plugging the PS3 in, but there can't be that much more in the way of shiny paint to slap onto the game, surely?

Like Muss said in the DOOM thread it's what about you value and is it worth £15 to you, not plugging in the PS3 long with new trophies etc
But where you planning to replay or you getting for the sake of it.

I'd buy that all over again on Switch. Okami on the go... (salivates)

I agree with that - any version that I don't have to play 90% of the combat with the secondary attack button would be good, also.

I said in my thoughts, I would love Okami on Switch and would be a game that would make sense on the system. Only reason why I can think it isn't is of the whole companies waiting and seeing on how the Switch does but I still find it odd something like Res Evil Revelations makes it to Switch and Okami doesn't, one seems a much easier sell.

Would love Okami on Switch but no announcement yet means I'll go for the PS4 version, the graphics are just too nice to resist and the themes that come with it look great too, not played it since the Wii so should feel fairly fresh for me.

I always assumed it was a straight port, but the difficulty changes have actually gotten me quite interested. I can beat NES SMB all to easily at the moment, so slightly more challenge is a plus.

What I can tell you is on Christmas Eve, yes you read the right, I will be putting up the games of January. You'll be able to see all the great games to keep that Christmas money for, including three fighting games which one is based on final fantasy, an old-school style JRPG and a game about hunting monsters.
