Athrun, if you are going to run this thread as a serious project (and I hope you do), it's a good idea to comment on other people's tunes as well as posting your own. You might find something you like! For example, I found that FFXIII-2 soundtrack pretty great, despite never having played the game, although that is heavily unsurprising since all FF games have great soundtracks to greater or lesser degrees.

That makes me want to listen to the CD I got with Final Fantasy XIII-2 which I've never listened to.

This rendition of the ICe Cap zone from Sonic 3, played on floppy drives, loses surprisingly little in transit

Bit late to this but I second Jay's love for Lost Odyssey's soundtrack, there's some brilliant pieces in there, and it really is very Uematsu. I really liked the music that accompanied the emotional Thousand Year Dreams bits, it really fitted the tone.
Some cracking battle music, too, like this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2f2PXN1Fku0&feature=share&list=PL6F77C6579981374B) and this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mi_grEetkuM&feature=share&list=PL6F77C6579981374B).

A classic, although its brilliance is somewhat dulled for me by how often I heard it back when Portal first was released.
I suppose I better gush about Bastion's music. The two vocal tracks in the game are haunting: Zia's Theme is a beautiful lullabyesque song, and Zulf's Theme comes at such an emotiionally charged part of the game and really elevates it to a new level. And finally, the Slinger's Theme just perfectly enunciates the Wild West style of the game. Oh, and it reminds me of Firefly, which is in no way a bad thing.

Agreed - the Portal song is iconic, but then people went on and on about it, and I ended up being sick of hearing it. It even had too many cameos in other games.

Yes! All videogame music should basically be this.

I'll keep this going all by myself (sings I don't want to be all by myself) with this catchy theme tune.

What the hell is Octodad?
Let's celebrate a composer - Laura Shigihara!
Here's one you'll likely recognise: Zombie on Your Lawn from Plants vs Zombies. Another vocal track is this beautiful piece from To The Moon, which holds a lot of emotional gravitas if you know where it plays in the game.
Here's one of my favourites from Plants vs Zombies. And another feels-inducing track from To The Moon.

What's happened to Athrun? Could he not stand the thought of commenting on other people's pieces that much?

erhuerhuerhuerhuerhuerhu I have developed a recent music-crush on the erhu. The rest of the piece is unsurprisingly JRPG epic.

I don't know what happened to him, I just started giving classic SEGA games some love with a few others like MGSV due to it getting a release date. So thought it be kinda fitting to have that here.

What a great little Easter egg that song was. Perfectly fit the tone of the game.
