The GNamer High Score Challenge - Now Playing... Dr. Mario

I'm gonna have a proper pop at this one. I tried DK but it is really awkward to control compared to everything from Super Mario Bros. onwards but I think I can have a little go at a shmup.

Anybody else wanting to give this a go? My score is definitely beatable, I'd say!

I couldn't do better, even with the awesome power of the Pro Controller. Plus I'm the same person as before

I didn't even realise we were playing it, I'll give it a crack.

I'm sure I got a better score on my first attempt but never saved the screenshot, either way I'm not very good and this seemed to be the best I could muster since that first attempt.

We've not done a puzzler, I suppose - Dr. Mario, Yoshi and Wario's Woods are still on the cards.

Dr Mario would be my choice as the other 2 are mince.

I did have a go at Yoshi the other day, which I sort of get; not Dr. Mario though. Is this my curse for saying Balla should love Tetris unconditionally?

Started to get a few good runs going late last night and was happy to take that first place again.

EDIT: also oddly this is now my most played of the NES games on Switch.
