Travis for me.
'Crismash', but I think I suggested that one. So if not, 'Let's Go Mas/Das'.

Dunno, it's whether I have the time to play it! What with Smash coming out, the next three months might be busy, gaming-wise. Think of all the indies I could play in that time...

Yeah, it is about 50hrs, just a bit odd that you like that genre of game and the Switch doesn't have many options, then a good one comes along you pass on it.

I played Octopath and (a bit of) TWEWY last year, and XC2 the year before that: I'm hardly starved of the genre. I'm not even sure I would call myself a massive fan of it these days, for various reasons. It's on my watchlist, but so's Ys VIII, and so's DQXI should it come out next year for that matter.
It won't.

I really should not be buying new games right now, especially considering that I'll likely have a few new titles for the backlog come tomorrow morning. Still, Travis Strikes Again looks like a good shout and I'll get around to KH3 someday, whenever I've finished the rest of the series.
One that caught my eye looking at future eShop titles was Bury me, my love. It's one of those visual novel games designed to look like a smartphone - it centres around Syrian refugees and tells the tale of a Syrian couple communicating, with one remaining in Syria and the other fleeing to Europe. I think it's meant to work better on phones as the texts between the couple take place in real time, so a response takes a few hours to come back, but I'm interested to see if that design translates to Switch as the actual premise of the game sounds like a gripping tale indeed.
Oh, and I'd love to try and catch the Dragon Ball movie in cinemas.
As for thread titles, I can't remember which were my suggestions - I'm pretty sure I was the Goku and Spider-Man titles - but I laughed at the Romeo and Juliet one from July reading back through and as I don't think that came from me, I'll call that my favourite.

I'm thinking about doing via Guilty Spark a highlighted upcoming download titles and the likes of Bury Me would be on it. Now I have heard good things but I played Old Man's Journey on Switch, okay is a different genre but people seemed to love it on mobile and just seemed okay on Switch.
I worry Bury Me could be like that.

I think Bury Me has a bigger risk of losing something on Switch as the game seems designed to be played on a smartphone - I'd imagine most adventure/visual novel games that are portrayed through a virtual phone screen would be the same too.

Probably just No More Heroes for me.
Yeah, I think both Bury Me and REIGNS I'm gonna try to get on phone instead of Switch.

Blimey January is a much better month for games than I first thought, Travis and Resident Evil 2 are the ones I mainly want but might try and hold off as I've already plenty to play.
The physical version of Celeste goes up for pre order on the 1st so mighty tempted to get that as that game deserves my money twice.

I bought a physical copy of Undertale purely for that reason, Smurf. Even if I'm no rush to replay it, buying a physical edition feels like you're supporting the creator more than a digital copy - no idea if that's the case or not, but hey, it's still double dipping!

I do think at the moment based on February and March, 2019 is going to be a decent year for games.

Did anyone get Bury Me?
Jan is a strange month as I was just looking to see when the last Friday of the month is and when the Sunday before that is, which is this Sunday not next like I thought.
Feb will be coming sometime between Sunday the 20th and 27th, that I would like name ideas like always for the month that has an Xbox One exclusive that was announced almost 6 years ago, two 3DS exclusives, a new game from Bioware, an anime mash-up game and some digital titles getting the physical treatment.

I'm disheartened in my efforts, after this month's title contained neither a game name nor the month.
Also I don't know what's coming out that I care about, or indeed if anything is. Backlog month, hooraaaaaaaaay.

I've only looked at retail at the moment but the Switch is getting 14 games but I do think you will care about zero of them and I think a lot will as well due to it being ports, indies getting physical etc
but I do think Phoenix Wright Trilogy is coming to the eShop, I'm yet check though.

Might get Tales of Vesperia at some point, everyone always raves about it. Not this month though, busy saving for Dokkan Batle next month when the Broly movie banners drop. Yes, I just openly admitted to putting a mobage game above a proper game in the budget priorities.
