Platinum and Hideki Kamiya just announced a new action game/co-op action game and it looks the absolute business. I thought this was going to be a MonlithSoft jobby, confirming this as Cappa and Jas' worst Direct ever - probably for the best that it's not!

Thought it was Platinum as soon as I saw the combat! That's a dev with a stunning track record, so I trust this will be the business. I want to see more though!

Did we get a release date?
30th August I believe.

This has a little blade runner vibe to it plus it's a Platinum game so one I'll keep an :cyclops: on.

Yeah ditto, looks to me like it's one player with the control being two avatars at once, which should be an interesting take. In less qualified hands I'd wonder if they can pull it off, but it's Platinum so I'm sure it'll be the banger it's already looking. Lowkey more looking forward to this than Three Houses.

Ah well, I wasn't planning to play it with anybody else anyway. Looks like it could work okay in co-op., but I'm very happy for them not to dilute the experience.
Incidentally this comes out a week after my birthday. Gah!
