- Non-rhotic accent. So 'Arthur' and 'other' sound pretty much exactly the same thank you all very much.
- Pronounce 'th' like 'th', don't drop your aitches, and spit out that 't' at the end of words. You're in RP territory now boyos! (Except when you need to ignore all that for a top Name That Game clue.)
- For some reason randomly turn '-ing' into '-in'' occasionally for no reason you can put your finger on.
- Throw all that in the bin, and speak like the Queen's judging you on your English accent and if she doesn't like it she'll hunt you down like a fox in front of Prince Philips' car.
Rum's right, the 'tomb' straddles two words, and y'all can chuff off.  (Also if you really want to hear what I sound like, you can hear me doing a parody of me on Buska's Poképodcast. Yes it's a parody.) |
