Still, if you can only play one visual novel, that's definitely the one to play. That first case is the Jimmest example I can imagine. I know the Phoenix Wright things are supposed to be good, and it's written by the same guy, so I'm sure they work better than most things I see. Still a bit too "non-interactive" for me. Also (*ranting intensifies*) Visual Novel? that's the name we're settling on, is it? Different to just books, which we don't see any visual aspect off, instead listening to the sound the ink made across the page. |

| They've been called Visual Novel's for decades but as someone that's not played Ghost Trick, is it a Visual Novel? As doesn't it have gameplay where you control a dog and moving around? |

| I know Ghost Trick is only tenuously a Visual Novel. It's the bits that aren't a Visual Novel that make it worth playing. I'm going all in on this now it seems |
