| Can confirm that they were. I completely forgot about online, otherwise I would've turned it on for those and had a much better time... or just been stubborn and plugged away at them on my lonesome regardless. |

| I had a couple of nice moments of camaraderie with the online feature too! There were a couple of the late levels where me and another player kept dying, for example, and they managed to get to the next bit before I did - and a few deaths later, once I eventually got to that next bit, the other player was there waiting and they did a happy emote and then we went to the flagpole together. Cute! |

| So far I've only got through the first couple of worlds, but I really do like the way the online stuff works, for that reason you said there Rum. I've had a couple of smiley face team moments so far! To paraphrase another recent post of the End Of Year Awards, this is the true Strand game Kojima wanted! |

| Big Strand game vibes from the multiplayer, absolutely spot on.
I've only got the big hard final level to do in this. I've not played it in a while as Tekken 8 distracted me, but the urge to go back and remember how to play isn't exactly high. Maybe I'll squeeze it in before Rebirth. |

| I played my first session of actual multiplayer with Mercy's brother and it was hilarious chaos, especially as we were deep into endgame content. |

| I'm not sure how I'd feel about the actual multiplayer in this - multiplayer Mario is manic enough without adding in things like Wonder Flowers. |

| Characters no longer bounce off eachother, so it was a little less chaotic than NSMB |

| Is there still collision or is it sort of like interacting with the ghost players in the online connectivity mode? |

As I recall, no collision. |

| Ah, nice, I think that change would make it work pretty smoothly then, although I'd reckon losing the total carnage of Mario multiplayer would be a little sad. |
