| Well, the crazy Tokyo Crash Mobs is out tomorrow. TODAY! Look at it, it's just so mad and Japanese, I'm amazed it got localised.

| I'd potentially buy anything Mitchell puts out (Sujin Taisen! Pang! Polarium!), though I've still yet to play Wakugumi, so I'll have to pass for now. |

| Just read on NeoGAF that this is Mitchell's last ever game. The company apparently shut down after this release. |

| Reading that review has actually put me off Crash Mobs, somewhat. That's saying something for me, because I love a dose of Japanese crazy. Real shame to see Mitchell go under. |

| Aye, the industry has lost a creative studio - so many great arcade classics and puzzlers were made over the years.
I'm hoping the arcade in Goodge street, London will continue to have PANG there.
Annoyingly I'd have bought Tokyo Crash Mobs to support Mitchell, but now I'm guessing all the money will go to Nintendo (which is alright, but I'd like to support Mitchell). Guess it's too late now...

I was quite surprised that the Japanese eShop lacks a lot of the themed racks the EU/US eShops feature on their virtual shelves. The main (top) line of racks mainly push single games - Animal Crossing, NSMB 2, Fantasy Life, Wii U, with Fantasy Life being the only piece of third party content on the shelf.
I much prefer the themed racks of the EU eShop, personally - helps the user discover more content and they only promote quality content anyway (I remember there was a 5 star software rack recently which contained Gunman Clive, woo!). |

| Oh, balls. You know what's coming to the European eShop this very Thursday? Picross e2. I'm going to have to buy it, and play it. There'll be far less work done this week, let me tell you! |

| I'd forgotten all about that. I'd really like Retro City Rampage on Vita before I bother with either of those. |

| Finally picked up Crimson Shroud. Hope the story gets better, because so far it's clichéd bull. |

| Surprisingly, Gunman Clive on the eShop outsold the iOS version recently, which is great news for us as hopefully other smaller development teams should consider 3DS eShop a viable platform to bring their games to. - Balladeer wrote:

Worry not! It does. I was thinking the same (though it is expertly translated by Alexander O' Smith, and the quality of the writing shows), but once it all ties in during the latter half it moves towards quite the shocking ending. It's a great little tale. |

| As much as I like me some picross I don't think I'll get e2 just yet as I didn't finish off the first e shop picross.....still waiting on a 3ds game to jolt me into to playing it more than I am. |

| Okay, the Picross E series is now a guilty pleasure of mine, because I feel guilty for buying the sequel and giving Jupiter money. They could have made an effort with presentation, or animated finished pictures, or made the music less dreadful; but no. It's just another slew of Picross puzzles, and while on one level that's fine it's also Snorlax-level lazy. |

| Holding off on Picross e2 for a while, still playing Aero Porter and Hydroventure, both of which are frustrating and fun in equal measure. |

| What's thye general Hydroventure feeling round here? It's another one of those games that had a modest amount of hype before release and has since seemingly dropped off the map. |

| If you're familiar with the original, be prepared, as Hydroventure: Spin Cycle is structurally a different beast. It's level-based as opposed to being open-world and you play a character this time, not just a simple puddle of water (although you control him in exactly the same way, with tilting and button inputs). I'm not terribly far through it - the curse of Pokémon and Picross! - but I've fought an end-of-world boss, which was a pleasant change of pace. For me it's not as good as the WiiWare title, but it's still a decent game.

| Worst part of Picross e2 found today: a puzzle of a tiara titled "Tierra". |

I am a complete Hydroventure n00b, I admit. |

I must agree with this. Due to the isolated level structure there aren't many Metroid-esque secret areas to discover which aren't basic hidden areas, Rayman Origin-style. |

Late thread entry! I quite liked how there was a rack recently of Australian-developed games- which is a pretty good idea for a theme. |

| Once you get past Spin Cycle's slightly annoying tilt controls, there's a really good game to be found. As has been said, it's slightly different from the original, but I think this is a benefit to the game, it suits the platform it's on. I've started to enjoy this more, I was a bit indifferent to it when I first started it. I've started to enjoy Aero Porter a lot less thanks to an irritating part of the game. See, while you're sorting out luggage, bombs get mixed in with the luggage, you're given a set amount of time to dispose of the bomb by moving it to a truck to be detonated. If you don't? Forget it! Your sorting area gets blown up, and you have to start that 'day' from scratch. The game will punish you in the worst way possible. The next time you go on luggage sorting duty, you have to play with the conveyor belts moving at the slowest speed, and believe me, that's very slow. So you have a whole day (about 20 minutes) of failure ahead of you, as you won't be able to sort as much luggage. It kills the flow of the game so badly. And if another bomb appears and you have to dispose of it by moving it from the top carousel to the bottom one? Forget it (again)! You don't stand a chance. So you'll be punished again by being forced to go through the same process again until you can go a full 'day' without having your airport be blown up |
