Good morning all Christian men and women (and dirty heathens too I guess). Doing anything to celebrate Easter? Giving/getting lots of chocolate? Any particularly nice Easter eggs you want to post pictures of?

I shall be celebrating this most holy of days... by playing LM2 and HK. Hey, ghosts have risen from the dead too, right? That's almost like Jesus.

Nupkin and I exchanged eggs and cards too. Both chocolate eggs look very nice and middle class. I might post a picture of my card in the Community sub-forum if nupkin'll let me...

Just my usual church and big roast dinner here.

I only celebrate Easter in the "Woo-hoo! It's almost Summer!" sense, so it's just a normal bank holiday Sunday for me. I do seem to have acquired about three Easter eggs, though.

I'm spending it writing an essay on European cinema and swotting up on Swedish vocabulary for a speaking exam on Tuesday. I'm homeward bound next weekend however, so providing my Dad's not scoffed it, I'll have an Easter egg to enjoy upon my return.

I've only had one easter egg but on the bright side I got like 7 bags of mini eggs so all is well.
Turkey for lunch too...( the bird, that is)

We got given easter eggs at work on Thursday, that's about it.

It was a Mars one, btw.

I played Lego City, took my housemate to the airport and went to work

I worked for 10 hours, with not enough staff...

Happy late Easter, forumites. I don't celebrate it at all, apart from the obvious eating of chocolate!

I spent Easter at my girlfriend's parents' house. We had a nice lunch and took her nephew to the park. Oh, to have something in my life I enjoy as much as he loved pretend kicking me on the swing.

I got my girlfriend an Easter egg but the whole north west of England had run out, so I didn't get one in return.

I'm due a massive After Eight egg (I did want the little one, but they were out of stock). My girlfriend has a Green & Black's Butterscotch one.

I was up until five this morning getting utterly, despicably wankered so for the most part I'll be spending today in my pyjamas feeling sorry for myself. Seeing the family briefly tomorrow but had to work Friday, Saturday and Monday so couldn't make a proper trip.
Weather's nice so I might go read my book on the green like a right hipster.

Enjoying my first Easter Sunday off since 2006. I'll go see my family up in Renfrew for a few hours later on, but for now I'm not enjoying spending my day doing - brace yourselves - 'An In-Depth Labour Market Analysis of the Hotel Industry in Scotland'.

Bloody hell. That sounds almost as fun as the "Actuarial Risk Management" I'm studying today.

I still had to get up at 2 to get to work today.

Got a bit of money and a egg. I was the same as Lilly as I worked Good Friday, Saturday and Working today. So doesn't feel like a Holiday type time as Sunday was my day off anyway. Just went to family dinner.

I just had a Creme Egg, as donated by the person who did the night shift.

Got a Humptey Dumptey which will not be put back together again, and a couple of bags of solid little eggs. As for what I did during the day, I slept as I was on night shift until about 5 then went off and saw Spider-man again

Being the dirty heathen that I am I spent the day with just a couple of Ferrero Rocher's and some lovely solitude spent watching TV and playing games.

Hello Easter thread. It's been, what, about a year now? How are you doing?

So the thing about this year compared to last is that I've moved out of the family home. This means that I can buy as many of the Mini Eggs chocolate cakes/nests as will fit in my plastic bag, and no one will stop me.

Yay independence! Also fatness.

Just another day for us heathens. Stopped caring about Easter when the children did.

There is enough chocolate in the house - for us! - to last a month.

Still just as much of a heathen as last year, my Lindt rabbit has been consumed and the day has become the normal sunday now: lots of chilling on the reclining armchair with video games and tv.
