| Don't know about anyone else, but I'm up for a new thread, if only to delineate the conversation between years. |

| This is the only thread we're ever going to use for the Golden Joysticks. I want you to check back in 20 years and laugh at the fact Cube voted for Assassin's Creed III: Liberation. |

| No. That's going to stand the test of time and eat you up inside for years. (this isn't even my thread so don't know why I'm adamant it stays ) |

| Pretty sure the fact the the year changes is enough to make the difference obvious enough. Bit of a weird one this year for me, I didn't find that there were many standout games. Also where on earth is TWD S2? GTA made the list last year without it being out when the games were shortlisted, are they genuinely saying Wolf was better? |

| I don't know why know TWDS2 but GTAV made the cut as it was out in September and there year is 1st of Oct to 30th of August for some weird reason.
Balla I seen something you'd like there's a proper English test on text talk for schools, so u can learn how 2 talk like tis. |

| Just submitted my wild guesses well-thought out votes. I've definitely been multiformat for the last few years, but honestly this last year did end up being Nintendo-centric for mainstream stuff; with the other consoles in transition, most of the interaction with them has been on an indie level, or a catch-up. |

| I'm was going to be predictably cynical again and express my disappointment for some of the nominees and how as usual it's a popularity contest and again and, par for the course, handheld games aren't proper games and therefore get their own categories blah blah blah
But I've been pleasantly surprised this year. Sure, the Ninty choices are mostly obvious, which doesn't make them any less well deserved mind you, but I was actually pleased to see Layton Vs AA nominated for best story, instead of the usual suspects. And generally speaking there's a lot of variety in general, for example DEVICE 6 made it into "best original game". |

Some questionable choices in there - studio of the year being very odd considering the reputation of that company - but very very chuffed with the GOTY winner. |

| Aye an erratic list there, Battlefield 4 doesn't deserve multiplayer purely on the absolute state it launched in (and it hasn't exactly improved)
I'm really not fond of their personality award this year. Mostly a bunch of tits (PewDie and Sarkeesian expecially). |

| This is why I never bother to vote in these things as the selection isn't usually varied enough, great to see Dark souls 2 take the top prize though.

| Why isn't Everybody's Gone to the Rapture in best audio? It's some of the best audio I've heard in a game... Also no Metal Gear but Uncharted trilogy is fine? Wat? |

| Once again these awards can suck it & even more than usual since Splatoon isn't in the Ultimate GoTY category. |

| Best original game, multiplayer game and Nintendo game must surely go to Splatoon. But of course we all know that will never happen.... |

| Or maybe it should go to Bloodborne, MH4U and MH4U respectively Splatoon is good but not as good as those 2. |
