| Where I live in somerset just up the road in the small town of Bridgwater, the local independent game shop Insane one of it's owner's (or something like that) is planning to open an 80's style arcade, info on links below the Facebook page is slightly more up to date.

So what you guy's think is it cool or just a pipe dream which will just cost to much to run and like the rest of arcades go the way of the dodo.
A lot of you would unlikely will ever come but he's doing sort of day passes, so I guess if you were on holiday down this way. You could buy a day pass and play all day. Me being local will have a membership. |

| I can't predict whether or not it would be a success in your area but put it this way, if there was anything like that near to where i lived that maybe also had a bar or cafe, i would be a regular and would encourage my friends to be regulars to. There's definitely a gap in that market. Even the coastal towns don't do proper arcades anymore....just dance dance stuff and 2p machines. |

That's pretty much the only way something like this would work, certainly outside of That London. |

| But problem is it's in the middle of no where, if it was in Torquay a holiday destination then I do think it could do well. I will join the membership as it will be good but not sure if will be around long. It has upstairs as well which he is planing to have tables set up for warhammer, magic the gathering etc and TV's with consoles like 360's system linked with Halo 4 and other gaming thing's like that. And you'll be able to rent it for parties or whatever The day pass I think he's planning on charging £15 which sounds a lot but imagine most would spend more then that putting £1 coins in anyway. |

| When it opens again I wouldn't mind going down for a day, if you wanna arrange a brodate. |
