Aye I'm not the biggest fan of cats to be honest, I did have a few when growing up but always preferred the personality that dogs have.

I've always been a cat person myself. I think it probably stems from the fact that my grandparents had the most foul-tempered German Shepherd for years, and it would hound me (no pun intended) as a wee sprog. Meanwhile, their cat was always very nice to me.

I'm deffo a dog person. I mainly put this down to my best friend and my auntie having the most gorgeous, friendly labradors when I was a child. I don't dislike cats, it's just that I've had little exposure to them in the past so I feel somewhat indifferent towards them.

My friend obtained a lovely cat last year, having said that, and I always like to see her when I visit her house.

I've never really been a fan of dogs, although I don't mind the dog my Dad got a few years ago. I've always loved cats.

I used to have a dog before Misty came about but unfortunately said dog died of a heart attack

I'm more of a Dog person, know longer have any pet's though but did have dogs & even cats years ago and members of family had them as well.

Also had a horse, here comes the west country jokes.

I'm not a pet person in general, but I have always liked parrots. Dizzy gets a from me.

Some people administer funny looks when you proudly declare that you keep a budgie. I usually counter this by telling said people how intelligent, affectionate and long-lived budgies are.

I used to have a cockatiel whom did show some of those quality's as well, he must of been a good 15 when he passed away.

Cats 4 life!  Never really liked dogs much, not in the sense I don't like them (all the dogs I've personally met have been awesome) but more from the sense that they seem too high maintenance to be a pet I'd want.  One of the things I love about cats besides their looks are their sense of independence.  It's too bad my current accommodation doesn't allow pets, I'd definitely have a cat if I could.

@mas: Always wanted a cockatiel! My mate had one when we were kids, and it was he who made me move onto pet birds over mammals. Dizzy will be eleven later on in the year...

After having grown up with a dog, and now owned two cats as an adult, I am actually both. I believe this heralds the end of the world.

She likes tuna. This is logical for a cat.
She also likes Bolognese sauce, chilli con carne, spaghetti and granola.
In one of the pictures, she's managed to sit on an important legal document while we weren't looking.
