| Aw, Dodger's great! That shell pattern, man.
Oh - as sort-of-promised, some cat pics; my mum wanted to set up an Instagram page. |

| The one with turkey
He can be but at the moment he doesn't seem to happy, we're trying to build something in the front room which he might enjoy more than the kitchen which is rather cold. |

| I love that Stella never gets bored with the leaves!
The orange fellas are definitely settling down quicker than expected, certainly than was feared by the RSPCA. We just need to get them to the vet for a checkup now, which of course we can't bloody do because the humans all need to go to the vet instead. Merry is a good boy except for dinner time, when we wants all the food and is basically turning into Garfield. Pippin is much smaller, and seems to have a Napoleon complex, but is still a cutie-pie. However, he's a bit skinny still, hence the wanting to go to the vet. I can't believe they're really the same age: Merry acts like an adult, Pippin a kitten. |

| Merry and Pippin, despite all fears of their scary past, have settled in very well now. Merry is basically like a normal happy house-cat, with the exception that he's still obsessive over food, and is becoming a chonker. Thank goodness there aren't loads of fictional overweight ginger cats to call him instead OH WAIT Pippin is a lot more kitten-like, to the point where we're not convinced they can possibly be litter-mates. He just wants to play all the time. This includes capturing prey possible attitude problem |

| I think I'm going to, against my better judgement, include a link to the Instagram page in my signature, rather than re-post here - I think Instagram gets a bit funny about that! But in that, there's a good'n of Merry on top of the fence post as he sees off the Even Bigger Cat From Round the Corner.
Although that might be the one he's friends with; if there was an indication of whether it's Merry or Pippin that starts their fights, it turns out, we found out from a nearby house, he's quite good mates with their cat and is often hanging out there when he goes out. This was the day he delayed coming in the house, and sat outside eating a sausage. From someone else's barbecue. I hope they're not feeding him all the time! Although he's not quite so rotund now, so fingers crossed. |

| We ended up taking our family cat to the vet years ago as we were concerned about her lack of appetite as she was leaving her food bowl mostly untouched, but eventually we found out the neighbours were feeding her bits of chicken and ham on the sly... |

| I have just browsed the entire kitty library. They are lovely boys. Attacking leg remains my favourite picture. |

| It was alright until I got to the hospital for some nerve testing on the hands and feet; it was suddenly embarrassing to see my foot torn to shreds when I took my sock off. I'm worried they're going to feed back to my GP that I'm self-harming or something. |

| I said before I'm becoming more of a cat person because of the pictures like yours.
Now I would still prefer a dog but if I buy a place this year (who knows when stuff will go back to normal to do things like that) after a few months, I may look at getting a rescue cat as even though like I said I'd prefer a dog, even the best trained I don't think would fair to leave them at home by themselves most days for about 10hrs.
Where I've seen from Zero etc house cats seem to be a thing and feel they'd be safer left at home alone. |

| Pretty much what I've done. The Lady's big into cats which helps, but I just don't think I could spare the time needed for a dog. - @Jimbob wrote:

Yikes. A bit more Wayne in them than the pictures suggest! |

| Well the tables have turned - looks like the first unscheduled vet visit tomorrow. God knows what Pippin's done, but he's limping good. |
