| I've got numbers
The Switch has now sold 52.48m SKU's meaning it's now past the SNES and rather close to the NES which is on 61.91m.
Best Selling Nintendo Switch games but I doubt any 3rd party game would make this list anyway
1 Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - 22.96 million 2 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - 17.68 million 3 Super Mario Odyssey - 16.59 million 4 The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - 16.34 million 5 Pokémon Sword and Shield - 16.06 million 6 Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! / Let's Go, Eevee! - 11.76 million 7 Splatoon 2 - 9.81 million 8 Super Mario Party - 9.12 million 9 New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe - 5.85 million 10 Luigi's Mansion 3 - 5.37 million
Both Astral Chain and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 became members of the 1m club as well recently
The 3DS is now on 75.71m, won't be long till the Switch overtakes it, as sells for the 3DS between April - December was 620,000. It's a bit of a shame to see the 3Ds sort of just go out on a whimper
Anyway, the Best Selling Nintendo 3DS games and again doubt any 3rd party games would be near these numbers
1 Mario Kart 7 - 18.68 million 2 Pokémon X and Y - 16.44 million 3 Pokémon Sun and Moon - 16.18 million 4 Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - 14.26 million 5 New Super Mario Bros. 2 - 13.32 million 6 Super Mario 3D Land - 12.67 million 7 Animal Crossing: New Leaf - 12.45 million 8 Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS - 9.57 million 9 Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon - 8.70 million 10 Tomodachi Life - 6.55 million
Nintendo are great with sharing numbers even during the Wii U, Xbox even though we know things like 10m+ people have played Sea of Thieves and revenue is down but that's about it, Sony are sort of in-between as we will get console numbers and now & again for games but not all the time but someone went through NPD's etc and come up with this list of a few select games he'd thought people would be interested in as I hear the Nathan Drake Collection is rather high and so is Knack.
The Last of Us (PS3/4) 21m+ Uncharted 4 18.5m Spider-Man 16m God Of War 14m Horizon Zero Dawn 12m Gran Turismo Sport 8m Bloodborne 6.5m Days Gone: 4.25m Death Stranding: 2m |

| Lads, if we chip in and pull together £19,322,502.95, we can buy 6,550,001 copies of Code Name S.T.E.A.M. from The Game Collection and get it into the 3DS top ten sales chart (assuming it sold no copies before) ((which it probably didn't)) (((cause it was shite))). |

| Let's take a look at the charts, the UK Top 10 looks like this
Number 1 Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2 DOOM Eternal 3 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 FIFA 20 5 Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 6 Grand Theft Auto V 7 Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy 8 Forza Horizon 4 9 Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled 10 Red Dead Redemption 2
The UK Physical figures were 475k for last week which is triple the week before and saw games like CTR jump almost 20 places, with the only real casualty being Nioh 2 which went from 1 to 25.
What it was really about was Animal Crossing which had the best launch of any Switch game in the UK (Well Pokemon SWiSH but you have to combine both games), sold 3.5 times what New Leaf did at launch and has sold more than all Animal Crossing games combined at launch.
Remember this is physical only as well, I went digital as it just made sense for AC. |

| It's been an absolute perfect storm for ACNH. I didn't like Nintendo hinging their strategy for the entire first half of 2020 on it (and a port of a Wii game), but goodness knows it's working out for them so far. |

| I think I said it ages ago (Might be when Prime 4 was announced) when we were talking big Nintendo series and likes of Metroid might be bigger historically but Animal Crossing will do stupid and I could see topping the Switch chart eventually as it just appeals to more people then SMASH.
And going back to the current numbers the combined games would all be physical and a lot would have been physical only like Wild World, that New Horizons being in a more digital age to still do more than all of the others combined juts on physical is impressive.
@Balla don't forget TMS a port of a Wii U game, got to have all the ports |

| That was a really niche game though. I'd imagine Brain Training was more strategically key than TMS. |

| I know but still, I think flopped in my opinion where I was thinking ti do well just of how well Persona and Fire Emblem do now maybe it had to have those in the title to shift units.
And Xenoblade HD is a tad niche as well, it do maybe a couple million which is a lot for what it is but Animal Crossing will do 20m+ |

If it had literally been called "Persona x Fire Emblem" I bet it would have sold considerably more Biggest problem from what I can gather though is that it's just not that great a game |

| Double Post as Animal Crossing has sold silly numbers in Japan and the Switch has now outsold the Wii in Japan as well, I believe. |

| I'm unsurprised about AC:NH, especially considering the current climate, but the Switch outselling the Wii is pretty damn surprising! |

| Japan loves its handhelds and I saw a graph today showing these numbers regards to Wii, seems the Switch Lite is doing very well that I think the target is more 3DS, DS etc being overtaken.
Looking the Japan Top 10 looks like this roughly 1. DS 33m 2. GameBoy 32.5m 3. 3DS 24.5m 4. PS2 23m 5. PS1 21.5m 6. PSP 20m 7. NES 19m 8. SNES 17m 9. GBA 17m 10. Switch 12.8m |

| 83 on Opencritic, I've not played much but still what I did could be a 8ish sort of game. Then again I might like this sort of game as look at my views on Persona 5 compared to Muss. |

| Animal Crossing is huge
In Japan, it's now the second best-selling Switch game behind SMASH by about 40k that by next week it will be Number 1 and likely will pass 4m sooner or later.
In the US of A, it became Nintendo's third-biggest launch ever behind only SMASH Brawl and Ultimate and is the number 2 best-selling game of the year behind Call of Duty Modern Warfare.
And in the World, it has sold 5m digital copies which is the most ever for a month beating Call of Duty Black Ops III.
I'm really interested to see when Nintendo announces Q1 Numbers how well it has done even just tracking 11 days. I'm also surprised how well SMASH does, I know it's a good game but I think Balla mentioned before somewhere it doesn't have that pick up and play nature of Mario Kart which I would have thought needed to do as well as it does.
Final Fantasy VII Remake also done rather well with 3.5m shipped in 3 days, now this is shipped physical games and digital sells combined that loads could be sat in a warehouse but considering the used market for the game I'm doubting that.
This is rather good as God of War sold 3.1m and Spider-Man 3.3m but those are sold not shipped. However, FFXV sold 5m in the same amount of time but was also on Xbox One, now from my research of XIII and XV (Also looked at Monster Hunter World because it's a big Japanese game), the Xbox version is about 25% of the overall sales that maybe if it was on Xbox One as well VIIR might have done 4.5m by now. Who's to say that without what's going in the world right now, it might have sold more anyway, I go back to the used market for this as I sold mine for £50 and I don't reckon in normal circumstances that would happen. |

| Triple Post as Nintendo just sent down fiscal report for Q1
The Switch has now sold 55.77m SKU's, the 3DS hasn't really moved since last time at 75.77m then we come to games
Using the Top 10, the Q1 data and older material I bring you the complete 1m club from Nintendo
1. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 24.77m 2. Super Smash Bros 18.84m 3. Breath of the Wild 17.41m 4. Super Mario Odyssey 17.41m 5. Pokémon SWiSH 17.37m 6. Animal Crossing 13.41m Life to date or 11.77m this is just 11 days sales for Q1 7. Pokémon Let's Go 11.97m 8. Splatoon 2 10.3m 9. Super Mario Party 10.10m 10. New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe 6.60m
11. Luigi's Mansion 3 6.33m 12. Super Mario Maker 2 5.48m 13. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening 4.38m 14. 1-2-Switch 3.01m 15. Fire Emblem: Three Houses 2.87m 16. Mario Tennis Aces 2.75m 17. Ring Fit Adventure 2.73m 18. Kirby Star Allies 2.56m 19. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze 2.25m 20. ARMS 2.21m
21. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 1.73m 22. Octopath Traveler 1.5m 23. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX 1.26m 24. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker 1.18m 25. Pokken Tournament DX 1.16m 26. Yoshi's Crafted World 1.11m 27. Nintendo Labo: Toy-Con 01 Variety Kit 1.09m 28. Astral Chain 1.08m 29. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order 1.08m
Now that is only Nintendo published games but the Q1 report does say nine 3rd party games have sold over 1m, that's harder to find but I think it's likes of Mario+Rabbids, Minecraft, FIFA etc
The Switch even though the best-selling games are all first party and from what I can find M+R would be around 18th that maybe this is why you don't see a Capcom putting a new game on the Switch knowing so few have sold over 1m, the first party games have the best attach rate ever for any system however. |

| Astral Chain selling a million copies is good to see. Despite it being critically-acclaimed, it didn't really get a lot of coverage. I'm pretty sure even IGN's Nintendo podcast didn't play or talk about it. |
