Top article from Scullion there - bashed through that on my lunch hour. I hadn't realised how much guff Bomberman had been attributed to over the years. I'd love to see a similar article for Mega Man, but I think Scullion (or maybe it was Matthew Castle, actually) hates Mega Man, so that might not happen.

The only thing keeping me from buying Super Bomberman R is the price, really. I'm much more tempted by dropping the same amount of money and getting Snipperclips and Fast RMX.

In other news, I've discovered Discord.  I can see this getting very addictive very quickly.

It's something I've always meant to check out - am I right in saying that it's basically just a chat room open at any time for folks to join?

As far as I can tell, yes. I'm sure it's standard as heck for many, but I found it pretty exciting!

It's what a lot of people who play games have swapped to using for voice chat as well.

I've been in a couple of Discords for podcasts and communities I like. It works well enough. Don't see myself spending any time in this one, especially with my situation meaning I'd never keep up.

It's now open to everyone if anybody else cares to join! Not that you should, y'all should be conserving all your Nintendo discussion energies for this place.

I know Drunka has had a lot of questions answered but wasn't the last cast ages ago, also I can't be the only one getting annoyed by the whole daisy thing and the secret project in almost every tweet.

I feel that the Daisy feud is beneath everyone involved.

Yeah the whole daisy thing lead me to muting (temporarily of course) Scullion on twitter, just a silly thing to be arguing over first of all and to continue to goad folk in and keep it going is beyond annoying.

It definitely is a joke, and I... still find it quite funny to be honest. Maybe because I didn't like her before that was eight-bracket. (Definitely funnier than e.g. Sterling's Konami 'thing'.) Anyway somebody actually appeared in the chat who likes her, which I think stunned Scully a bit and may or may not lead to changes.

Plans for podcasts are ongoing once he's finished his thing at the end of this month.

It's her voice. I love the idea of a more proactive, less traditionally attractive princess, but her voice is just horrible. (You can assume I've linked to that video here if you want.)
