BETA Talk

Demos are dead long live the BETA,

Almost every game under the sun now has a BETA and myself have signed up for SFV, Fable Legends, Black Ops III (PS4), Rainbow Six Siege (PS4 & ONE) and likely to pick up GoW:UE & Uncharted Collection which some with Gears 4 & Uncharted 4's BETA's.

Is there any your looking forward to or any I've missed out that are coming.

Anyone else playing COD:BOIII or SFV at the moment or just me.

COD does seem quicker but plays like COD still.

SFV looks real nice as when I first saw it, I thought looks a lot SFIV and that style will hold up for years. But SFV looks the business, shame I suck at it even with Cammy.

I've never felt any desire to take part in a Beta. I can understand why they exist, as a marketing tool and as a way to QA test a game's online mode with a bigger playerbase than a company could afford to pay, but I just can't muster much excitemement for a buggy, not-quite-ready multiplayer game I'll inevitably be crap at. I miss good ol' demo disks.

SFV fits that buggy, not-quite-ready but COD could come out tomorrow.

I would have liked to try out the Black op 3 beta but again it was oddly blocked off by needing to pre-order the game when the point of the beta is to test the servers with as much traffic as possible.

They've opened it up to everyone now btw if you're interested.

It's just the week it's open I think.

@Jas and I seen a few people say it's different & fresh but it really isn't that much.

Aye I'd be be up for some games of that.

I have tweeted it out but have had a email from Ubisoft asking if we want closed BETA codes for Rainbow Six. I can ask for upto 50 but of course I'll go for a more realistic number.

I'd be up for code if that's all right.

I took wouldn't mind a swing.

If its PC I won't turn it down.

I don't know which system as it doesn't say but I've asked for 5 codes of the 50 I could, PS4 is the most wanted if all codes are the same format.

Me & Drunka would like to play but were be at EGX as it's Sep 24th to ?, we should be playing it there.

I have codes and it's any format, I've sent 4 codes out I've got one left. PS4 owner might be best as then Jay, Andy & Jas will have a 4th team mate.

I should be in the Paragon BETA and maybe The Tomorrow Children but I am tempted to preorder The Division via Amazon to get in the BETA as the game looks good and something as a group we may play but it wasn't good at EGX and it may get overlooked in March but if we play and we like it then it could be a must buy.
