A fair point, Zero - I'll go back and edit some of mine in. |

| Thank ye kindly! I preferred it when they renamed it Passapuff, followed by Passapuff Excessive and Passapuff Unchained. (Die-a-blow Too and Free? No? Okay then.) |

| WRPGs went down about as well as a lead balloon - let's move on! (I've edited in my game names again.) Week 3 is sports games: the Payment-for (how appropriate!) and Payed-for-it Darwinism series and the like.
(FIFA and Pro Evo.)

| Sports games are alright, but I've never been a fan of the Angryburrow series. I just don't get it. - Spoiler:

I'm sure this one is absolutely brilliant, but I don't have a clue what it is! Everyone seems to be talking about Firework 5.556km ( Rocket League) nowadays as the current-gen. sports game du jour. It does sound fun!

| Probably my most-played sports game on the SNES was Countrywide Hoops Organisation Preserve. Loved that. The more recent Wii update did not capture the game I remember playing... |

| Another blinder, Zero. The last "proper" sports game I played and enjoyed (ignoring the Giuseppe series: Giuseppe A-Number-After-Nine-Exists and Giuseppe Volkswagen: Frog Chair Walkaround being my favourites) was probably Global Idol Football: International Year of the Ocean. The PlayBox sequel put me off the rest of the series. - Spoiler:
Mario Tennis Mario Golf Toadstool Tour ISS 98

| Yay, I get Jay's and Zero's! Oh I just got Balla's! The problem with the SNES is that all the games had the same basic name: Magnificent Racketball, Magnificent Association Football, and even Magnificent Crutch. |

| Magnificent Crutch is eluding me. Anyway, with xkcd stealing our idea, it's time for another genre change! This time it's shooty games in space. Games like BelongingToUs-Variety, AshenGod and, of course, UntruthCartoonist Struggles. (Yes, these genres will get more TRP-like as I try to string the thread idea out. ) |

| Seeing as I'm struggling with the last two games you've used as examples, is this edition centred around games like Meteorites or games like Church-Gathering Outcome? - Spoiler:
Asteroids and Mass Effect!

| Purposefully ambiguous, but mine were more along the lines of Meteorites. Incidentally, Church-Gathering Outcome (which I'd class as more of a Western RPG) is the third name for that game in this thread! |

| Ah, then I have to mention one of my favourites from that genre which I first played on the Imaginary Dashboard, Magnificent Sun Warrior.
(went and edited in the "answers" to my previous efforts!) |

| Cricket may have come from the Dutch word for crutch.
I was going to suggest Bang'n'Doublewasp but that's not actually in space. Therefore: Best: Nasty |

| I got Bang'n'Doublewasp just because it was Jimbob doing it. The other two are puzzling me. I think that Naughtiness & Retribution probably counts as being set in space, doesn't it? And we all loved its sequel, Heir of the Heavens, too. (pointedly ignores Andrewperson) |

| I am terribly afraid that I found Inheritor Of The Idols really very frustrating and traded it in quickly. Hatchetplace is much more my kind of game in this genre. |

Yeah, sorry! I realise I have a repertoire of about 3 games! At least I didn't mention Derbyshire (not a space shooter) |
