| Still haven't played the original Paper Mario. I think the reason I love Snap is how much it showed and let me interact with Pokémon in their natural habitats, acting like real living things. Don't get enough of that in the games. Even when they tried a big, 3D game in Coliseum the Pokémon still weren't properly roaming the world. Plus its a nice chill-out game for a hungover Sunday or any time I don't feel up to much. |

| Andy as Balla has before he doesn't like shooters but he said yes to goldeneye, because you don't like S&P doesn't mean it's not a classic. I even said yes to Super Metroid. Oh on these Lylat Wars, Yes Pokémon Snap, Yes F-Zero X, Yes WWF No Mercy, Yes Doom 64, No sorry Drunka but it's not the classic Doom Paper Mario, Yes |

| I get the "roaming the land", Drunka, but it's not enough to make it a classic for me.
I'm not actually sure about S&P myself. I played it, but much later, and couldn't really get into it. S&P2 was better for me. |

| S&P2 is the better game Yes, and I didn't play S&P till late either but the question is it a classic N64 game and that answer is Yes, I remember people importing it to play it as we didn't get it here and it be that good for the time and still holds up pretty well today. |

| I really think S&P is a bad game though... It's not based on my issues with the genre, I'm not going to vote down Lylat Wars too when it comes up, I actively like KI:U, I really think S&P is a big pile of wank. |

| Ooh, I've got some controversial opinions here! DKR came nowhere near MK64 which came out first (and it left almost no legacy), DK64 was just bad, and Smash Bros. only really got going the generation after. Ns for them from me, Ys to B-K and Perfect Dark (which I never played). |

| On Lemons Banjo-Kazooie, Yes Diddy Kong Racing, Yes it's not one of best selling N64 games for no reason DK64, No Perfect Dark, Yes Smash Bros, A bit like Final Fantasy & Metroid it might of started it of but didn't become a classic game in till the next system that it's a No |

| One big game not on the list so far: Mario Tennis. Still the best sports game in my opinion, unbeaten to this day, and placed in Cappa's Mario votes thread. |

| Lots to vote on! - Spoiler:
Super Mario 64 - Yes, even if I think it's been eclipsed it's still fun! Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Yep! Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - YES. What a game. Blast Corps - Abstain. Mario Kart 64 - Even if I'm not a fan, it's an indisputable classic. Yes. Goldeneye - Yep! Space Station Silicon Valley - Abstain. Sin & Punishment - A tough one this. It's quite niche, but I think it's bloody brilliant. I'm going to say yes. Conker's Bad Fur Day - Abstain. Lylat Wars - Yep! Great game. Pokémon Snap - Yep! A lot of fun, and a concept that deserves a modern update. F-Zero X - Yep! WWF No Mercy - Yep. Widely regarded as the best wrestling game out there. Doom 64 - Abstain. Paper Mario - Hell yes! Great game. Banjo and Kazooie - Yep! Diddy Kong Racing - Abstain. DK64 - Abstain. Perfect Dark - Abstain. Smash Bros. - No, for the same reason as others have mentioned, Smash Bros wasn't truly classic until Melee. Mario Tennis - Abstain.
Nothing else to put forward, as folks have already covered everything I wanted to nominate! |

| Yay to Jay saying to Yes S&P.
nothing Jay there's so many more great games.
On Mario Tennis, Yes
Looks like Conker won't be going in which is a shame as it's the Top 5 N64 IMO.

| Feel free to suggest a couple more, Mas. At the moment, despite your claims, there have been fewer games put forward for the N64 in total than classics on the SNES!
From what I've heard of CBFD, and seen in my watch-through on Youtube, it's a story-centric game that doesn't really have an overarching story. A series of anecdotes dubiously strung together. I've also seen a lot of different gameplay styles, and wonder whether that's not the same. I've no strong opinion, but if I were going one way or the other, it'd be towards "No". |

| Conker is excellent to play and really funny, it's arguably RAREs best game.
I would add these to the mix: Jet Force Gemini Pokemon Stadium Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire Star Wars: Rouge Squadron |

| Ah yes, the famous cosmetics-based Star Wars game. SotE I remember getting 70-something per cent in issue one of N64, where they essentially broke the game down into five good and five bad levels. Not classic material. I enjoyed PS, but it's not a classic either: apart from being upstaged on the console by its sequel, if you're going to offer little outside prettier-than-GB battling make sure you have a sound underlying battle system. The RBY generation didn't. (I put RBY in on the basis of its world, not its battling.) Dunno about RL; JFG gets a yes-but-I-haven't-played-it. |

MK64 - Irrelevant yes Goldeneye - Irrelevant yes Space Station Silicon Valley - Yes - even with the game-breaking bug S&P - Abstain (not my thing) Conker's BFD - Controversial No - I love Rare, but, beyond the *snigger* factor it's a bit shonky Lylat Wars - Irrelevant yes Pokémon Snap - Abstain F-Zero X - Yes WWF No Mercy - Abstain Doom 64 - No. No no no. Paper Mario - Yes B-K - Irrelevant yes DKR - Abstain DK64 - Yes. Just Perfect Dark - Yes Smash Bros. - Yeah! Even though it's been improved on. Mario Tennis - Yes. New challengers (I know, sorry, complicated): Pilotwings 64 - YES - Proper sequel next time Nintendo The New Tetris - YES - I know I'm on a losing battle here, but the gold/silver square mechanic actually adds something Worms Armageddon - YES - N64 version might be best version Banjo Tooie - YES - A bit bloated compared with the original, but actually made a good "finale". Mario Party 2 - YES
