Mas is right. Croatia could cause an upset - perennial dark horses that they are - and Wales have the mighty Bale (alongside the mighty David Vaughan, who plays for my team, Nottingham Forest). I'd also like to remind y'all of the time Greece won Euro 2004 out of nowhere.

Surprised that my big hitters, Spain, are out - and at the same stage as my minnows, Hungary - who probably produced the most enjoyable matches of the tournament.
My money's on the Germans, they always work so well as a team during cup finals.

The long-awaited update to the OP has now been made, so I feel that I can show my face in this thread once more.
Germany have looked strong but so have Italy and France... it feels quite open at the moment. I reckon that the winner of Germany vs. Italy will win the competition.
