Yes, keep it that way! It can become one of those little idiosyncrasies that newbies ask about, and we scoff and say down our noses, "What, don't you know?"

I spotted that earlier and was confused by it too!
Have you changed the forum time from military time to am/pm, Balla? Could've sworn I had it set on military.

Not intentionally.
Also, mind if I try to separate out the announcements from the rest of the posts? Given that they appear in every forum?

I'll have a look at that. I'm a funny sod who loves military time.
Announcements are only forum-wide if they're global announcements. Regular announcements stay in their respective forum. Feel free to have a tinker, though.

Maybe this could be a part of the section mentioned above, I think we need a 'general gaming' area. Some of the threads we created on NGamer didn't really fit in the section they were in - eg, 'What Was The First Game You Played Of 2013?' was in the Retro section - hardly retro. New section for this sort of doesn't-fit-anywhere-else kinda stuff?
Excellent point. Er, I'm guessing that must cover all formats. It's definitely not Off Topic material. Where should we place such a thread? I don't really think it's worth its own category.
I do think it's worth its own category. But then again, I'm of the belief that we don't need individual sections for Playstation, XBox 360 and PC (like that will ever be used! ). Maybe this is just me, but I'd house those three under one sub forum.
Also, does the little 'online' strap have to be where it is too? Looks daft.

Beats me why that's there. I'm sure that's hidden in a really obvious setting.
And I do think you're right about the PC thread. We do have a few Sony owners here though, so I'm a bit reluctant to compress the Other Formats section. I don't want the lack of a dedicated platform forum thread to alienate any potential newbies, hence the reason why Xbox and PC remains.

Makes sense, plus it makes the front page look busier.

Do threads that have been stickied(?) have to have 'sticky' in the title?

If you look, they're not actually part of the topic title. 'Sticky:' is added as a sort of text label after the sticky has been activated.
And to answer your next question: I've no idea if that is removable.

They look great, but I don't want anyone to have a reason to sue us (that tagline can't stay, for example). Just wondering if the red circle around the G could be turned into a red square with the same thickness of outline, perhaps around a squared-off G in the same style as the one you've drawn?
Thank you for giving us your time by submitting those designs.

Another minor thing from me, the title of the threads once you're in the thread is blue on a blue background, doesn't look good.
Also, newly acquired footage of Stu and Balla behind the scenes running the forum...
