| I don't often pick up game soundtracks though. TP was an exception because I love the Zelda series' music. (It was also a massive hassle because I have no CD drive on my Mac.) I remember and like about three songs from Prime 1 (title screen, Tallon Overworld, Phendrana Drifts): otherwise I have no strong feelings about the Metroid soundtrack. |

| Following on from Cappa's point, do we reckon it'll be one of those times where the sales will dictate whether they make more Metroid games? Disregarding the fact that Metroid Prime 4 exists, I suppose... Not following on from Cappa's point, I'm happy to see MercurySteam doing their thing for this. I liked their 3DS Castlevania game, right enough. |

| I don't think Nintendo see this as much more than a side project, but if Metroid Prime 4 flops I'm sure that'll nip any future Metroids in the bud. |

| If that ever happens that will hurt my soul, so I hope you all buy multiple copies of each of the Metroid games. |

| Always ready for more proper Metroid games. I toyed with buying Federation Force, if that counts... |

| Part of me is a little disappointed we never all picked it up and did four-player sessions. Looks like it would've been fun for that. |

| I have a Zero Suit Samus amiibo, too. Feels like a very long time since I last scanned an amiibo for anything (although, thinking about it, that means I need to do a load of scanning for MK8D ). |

| I've got the Samus from Smash. Art galleries can be fun, but I'm not too excited at peering at art on the 3DS screen. |

| I want the squishy Metroiibo. 'Cause it's squishy. Any unlockables are a bonus.

This is the way I've always seen amiibo, affordable Nintendo figures first & decent bonus content second. - JayMoyles wrote:

Sounds nice and all, but I doubt the chances of buying one are going to be very high!
Aye that's the one downside of amiibo if you don't get in there when announced then you'll likely miss out on them entirely or have to wait many months for a new run. I couldn't pass up these Metroid ones since it's my favourite Nintendo series. |

| I tend to buy Ammiibo for the toy first, game content second but I'm trying to cut down on buying tat just now. |

| I don't know if true as I can't translate Japanese but some are saying the translation is slightly wrong and for instance if you use Samus Aran (Metroid Series amiibo) you unlock Elon Reserve Tank, special ability recovery during the game and Metroid II Art Gallery right away instead of unlocking after beating game, which is far better as be rather screwy for Nintendo to hide 4 unlocks for beating the game behind amiibo and what do you get for beating the game without them, if you do need them. |

| I think you are overthinking it there mas plus wouldn't it be a bit odd unlocking an art gallery for a game you haven't finished yet? Even though some of it would be concepts not used there'd still be stuff in there that would/could spoil the game for players. - mas wrote:

The satisfaction of beating the game & seeing what your item completion was? |

| I might be but I've seen a couple videos on it already talking about it, with most saying lets see what happens when NoA or NoE says what they do, instead of a possible mistranslation.
