This is when I put this up, as she inspired me.

Nintendo making me so hyped after E3 I need to set the Wii back up despite being in the middle of AC Brotherhood so I can play some Brawl.  Nintendo still knows how to press my buttons and make me as giddy and excited as a kid.

I'll also say the recent Nintendo Direct, but for significantly different reasons.  (SSB4 does look great though.)

While we are on that subject I have a friend on Facebook that is a bit religious and so every post is nearly something out of the fricken bible or God did something supposedly and Amen and all that and in all honesty it is starting to !&$% me.

Now I'm not against the religious thing or anything but every day with at least 5 to 6 posts it's not right

nupkin has a cuddly couple that are also dead religious.  At Easter, they wheel out, "CHRIST IS RISEN!  ALLELUIA!"

I gave up caring about what people post on facebook a long time ago. I just concluded that everyone was a nob and stopped posting anything but my automated trophy posts

Now Payday ticks me off as now I really notice the loss of hours in the fuck all pay..

The reason for the drop for everyone is so no one gets sick...

Something that has always pissed me off and will never stop, is old people criticising young people, as if their generation were perfect.  Now I see the irony here as I am old, so don't point that out.  It actually gives me clarity.

The usual things they complain about are drinking, behaviour, sex, drugs, manners ....... it never ends.  The biggest target is teenagers.  What amuses me though is twenty-somethings complaining about teenagers .... 'back when I was a teenager'.  People get old, real quick.

Now I was a kid of the 60s and a teenager of the 70s and unlike those of my generation, I actually remember what it was like, without the rose-coloured glasses.  My friends had gang-bangs, used drugs, binge drank, had porn magazines and broke any number of laws.  I personally had no interest in any of that and stopped at petty vandalism.

A complete dick in 1965 is the same dick in 1975, 1985, 1995, 2005 and will be in 2015.  People don't change, the world they live in does.  Don't blame the kids for the world adults created.  Kids today have more money and more choices  That is the difference.  I can't believe a single person of my age who would tell me they wouldn't have been using internet porn if they had it available to them.  You should not criticise anyone for what they do now, when you did not have the same access yourself as a teen, as you can't be so sure you wouldn't have done exactly the same thing.

My take home message - never believe your generation is better or different, it isn't.

That's funny I usually go on about the old people and how slow they drive and how no matter where you go there will be a group of them in the way somehow

The Labor leadership rubbish as usual.  The next week is going to drive me insane, I just know it.  With the last chance of changing leader being next Tuesday this will be ending one way or the other, and I still wonder if Rudd is going to leave the party out to die.  After all he may just choose to let the ship sink with its current captain rather than take the helm and still sink.  I'll be especially angry if nothing happens and the party ripped itself to pieces over him for nothing.  

Honestly I don't like Abbott's negativity these last three years, and fear about how much the Liberals will cut if they take power.  But frankly after the way Labor has been behaving they deserve to lose their jobs to the Coalition.  What a complete farce of a party.  Less than three months out from an election they are predicted to be absolutely obliterated in they're still ripping themselves to shreds rather than join under a common goal for the sake of self preservation.

If you think I've ranted much you haven't seen anything yet, just wait till next Tuesday.  Whatever happens I am likely going to be very very angry.  I'm so close to just saying screw the whole system and casting a donkey vote this year, and this is my first election I'm eligible to vote too.  

Maybe I should avoid any contact with the media next Tuesday or something.
