| Just read through all the Xenoblade reviews and had to get an order placed for this bad boy. Hopefully it comes by Friday but we shall see - anybody else jumping back on the Incredible Shulk train? |

| I do actually really want to, but there are games I haven't played which are probably more worthy of the time investment. . . |

| You did play it back on Wii I presume Drunka? If so, that's how I feel. I tried that with Okami and will probably never finish that (again) now. GJones: you're in for a treat boss. |

| I have it on the Wii but I never completed it - I got a mere 40 or 50 hours in, I think. I want to get the remastered edition but want to hold off until I've beaten a few more games (I'm on a roll at the moment!). |

Yeah I similarly put 40 hours into this on the Wii but never pushed through. Hopefully being handheld it will be something I can throw a few hours into each evening. |

| What you're saying about Okami is what I felt about the Zelda's on Wii U as even though WW is my fav game that's time I could be playing a new game, does make me ifffy on the Mario games coming to Switch depending on what's done and when they come out as if just ports then not that keen but if like Got that one in the Days of Play Sale for £13, I thought it was okay back in the day that I always wanted to give this remake a bash but not at £30. Then I got Kya is the sort of PS2 game I'm looking for as in an exclusive that is still on the system with decent enough reviews Edit I bought a physical Switch game, think this is the first one since umm I really don't know Yes I did get the pen and notepad |

| I'm still working my way through Xenoblade, but picked these up (VK digital, M+R physical). Valkyria I understand is one of the best games on the PS3 and is highly respected, as far as strategy RPGs go. I'll get to it after Xeno but couldn't resist at £7. Mario & Rabbids I nabbed for £18 and I look forward to playing it as a palate-cleanser between heavy bouts of Reyn time. Or are the levels longer than I'm giving them credit for? (I've more or less sacked Hollow Knight off at this point and fallen into the well of endless Switch goodness!) |

| Mario and Rabbids levels can be lengthy at times yes, it's by no means a pallette cleanser game, it does save after each battle so you can theoretically jump in and out although for me I wanted to keep on playing. Either way it's a great game I think every Switch owner should play. |

| A couple of games, also got Syphon Filter The Omega Strain on its way for PS2 Edit Both of these arrived, SpongeBob is 4 days early and what I plan to play after TLoU Part 2 Also noticed updating my backlog that my VITA collection will likely pass my GameCube one, which does seem a tad crazy that I see more VITA stuff than I do Cube to pick up, my PS2 collection is coming along as well. |

| Double Post A chap on TOH Discord was having a clear out and I picked these up, he did have some other decent 360 games but my 360 is dead that only looking at games I can play on my Xbox One (Series X) they were games also available on PS3 that sooner have on that then 360 out of the two last gen systems such as Eternal Sonta.

| I believe I have, it's the other two I haven't and I hear Colours is good
My Wii collection is odd, I feel it's the one with the most games I've not played and the most good games in it based on an avg critical consensus but it's getting to them as I'm not big on the Wiimote and if I were to play retro the PS2 or PC Engine Mini appeal to me more

| Ooft, Secret Rings. There's a game I thought I legit enjoyed, but going back to it was an absolute car crash. Good to see someone buying Spongebob, that's definitely on my to-buy list. |

| I played a bit of it yesterday, looks and feels like it did on OG Xbox. I know it does look better but much like Twilight Princess HD, it's how I imagined it looking if that makes sense.
Hey it was £20 and be a fun afternoon between TLOUP2 and Ghost of Tsushima. |

| Dead Space is a hell of a game until its final acts. It goes from having this ominous sense of claustrophobia and vulnerability to feeling a bit like Ghost Busters.
Still, for most of the game it does a really good job of adding new enemy types at just the right moments, always keeping you on your toes and giving you a reason to master your tool kit.
Less likely on console, but if possible, try it with headphones. One of the game's brilliant touches is it's audio and without giving away any spoilers there are plot reasons why having headphones in is the best way to play beyond any technical reason like surround sound. |

Funny you mention headphones, because the fella in CEX said the same thing. I do have some good headphones and plan to play it with them - I'd like to get a soundbar but don't imagine they replicate the surround sound effects. |

| That's what £45 gets you in today's second-hand N64 market. This ended up being a bit of a deal, as I'd ordered an unboxed copy of Destruction Derby 64 for £12, yet CEX sent me a boxed version worth £32 instead. I've never played Olympic Hockey '98 or Paperboy 64 so I'm looking forward to giving them a go. |

| Oooh, I'm interested in Destruction Derby 64. Was put off by reviews at the time, despite being a huge fan of Vigilante 8, TOCA 2 and then in later years, that bit in Saints Row 2 where you could do destruction derbies. Remember when games started having entire games within them? Looking back, the N64 had quite a few PlayStation ports (or mash-ups) that on the surface, looked like brand new games. Games with "64" at the end of their title generally meant it was an original, exclusive title, but that quickly lost its meaning. |

| I'm quite confused about Destruction Derby 64 - I can't tell if it's an all-new game or not. It's definitely not a port of the second one, but the game's Wikipedia page seems to think it's an enhanced port of the PSone/Saturn original. I was like you too, I was put off by reviews at the time. I had it years later but traded it in for a quick profit. I plan on playing it through, but a quick ten-minute test the other night was quite good fun. |

| Amped is good, Kameo still seems to hold up from what I played in RARE Replay, PDZ shows why launch games scores can be iffy, no idea on Just Cause From a week or so which brings me close to 100 Physical VITA games From the boot sale at the weekend Saw this at the weekend but pick up today Will talk more about the 3DO elsewhere but I've now owned a 2600, Intellivision, NES, Master System, Mega Drive, SNES, CDi, Mega CD, Neo Geo CD, 32x, Multi Mega, 3DO, Jaguar, Saturn, PlayStation, N64, Dreamcast, PS2, GameCube, Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii, PS3, Wii U, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, GameBoy, Lynx, Game Gear, Virtual Boy, Game.com, GameBoy Color, Neo Geo Pocket Color, WonderSwan Color, SwanCrystal, GBA, Pokemon Mini, N-Gage, DS, PSP, 3DS, VITA, New 3DS, PlayStation TV, PlayStation VR, Onlive, Stadia and various versions (e.g. GBA SP) of them all ohh then things like Spectrum's on top of but I'm iffy on what I've owned of those That really only PC Engine/TG-16 left (Got an Evercade on order) as unless I see dirt cheap I can't see me owning a Pippin anytime soon |
