| I'm going for Yellow myself, purely because I want to catch all three of the starters and I've no mates nearby to trade across if I buy Red or Blue instead. |

| Sounds almost like my team which I'm going for Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pidgeot just for Fly, Alakazam as Psychic types were beasts in Gen I and Jolteon as I love a Eeveelution and need a electric type as I'll be putting Pikachu right in the box.
But there is so many cool Pokemon in Gen I (the best Gen) that I may go for all of them as I'm still really tempted and I've got the money as well as it's bonus tomorrow to get one of those special edition 2DS's that I could just trade with myself, that I don't need friends (well I do for the the Mon exclusive to just Red or Blue). |

| Right, the R/B/Y thread seems to be winding down - I need to go back and beat the Elite 4 myself and I'll be done - so that poses the question of where we go next. Any suggestions folks?
I'd ask that it'd be available on Virtual Console, preferably on both Wii U and 3DS. I was thinking Earthbound myself, but I'm happy for any other suggestions. |

| Earthbound is a great shout. My suggestion was going to be a Zelda game but that's no longer timely, let's say! |

| Anything other than an RPG would be my suggestion. We just had one there. The pacing was off right the way throughout the last Lets' All Play - good chat was impossible because everybody was at different parts of the game, some by loads of hours. I completed Pokémon Blue over two months ago, whereas others don't look like they're ever going to. With such a big game, it's a bit mince.
I think this would work best if we played games that were quick and easy time-fillers, and games that we could all play at a comparible pace. Stuff that could be rattled through in an afternoon. |

| I sort of like the added impetus it gives to a big game, and I am close to finishing Pokémon, but Cappa does make a good point. Maybe we need a couple of quick and easy buffers before we do another RPG? |

| Cappa, as ever, has a great point. To me, it means a platformer, a sports game, or a puzzler. Do y'all have SMB2? I feel like it deserves more appreciation. |

| I think I used to have that on PC - I vaguely remember indoor football shenanigans.
Yeah, point taken in regards to an RPG being the next pick, we should vary it up. I do like having us all chat about a longer game though, and I don't think it matters if we're at different points in the game either. Folk'll play at different paces.
A platformer - SMB2 could be interesting - sounds like a shout to me. |

| I find it the hardest of the SMB's. It'll take me a few hours just to get into the rhythm of the game. |

| It's because it's so damn weird - it's Mario, but not really, and due to that it's not as easy to jump into as any other Mario. Right, I'm decided - the thread is being made! |

Yeah it is but I seem to struggle with it when I get to the later worlds, same goes for SMB3. |
