| No such thread existed here for this, so I'll jump in first.
I'm playing A Digital Love Story, a quirky little freeware text adventure game. Highly recommended, and I'm not usually one for text adventures either, but this is very well written.
What about you lot? |

| It just never gripped me, I think I have no imagination. I've been playing the odd game of Civ V, the new explansion got me back in. Shame I won't be able to buy it though. |

| I've been playing Kerbal Space Program which I highly recommend to anyone that enjoys space or building things or blowing things up. I can easily see myself wasting as much time on this as I did on Minecraft. I've also been playing Darksiders because I recently bought Darksiders 2 for WiiU and want to finally finish the first one. |

Is KSP not pretty complex, or am I thinking of something else? |

Is KSP not pretty complex, or am I thinking of something else? It looks more complex than it is and there is a lot to learn but I learned it all quite quickly. And even if you aren't very good at it, it's still pretty fun just building rockets and seeing how far you can get with them. |

| Feel I should add to this, after getting a new laptop.
I've been playing Dead Island and Rogue Legacy. I've not experienced any of the bugs associated with Dead Island, but I'm assuming they've been patched out. If any of you are up for playing this multiplayer, I'd be game. Rogue Legacy has been a very addictive roguelike so far. It's got that "one more go" quality to it, and I've put in a lot of time to it.

| Same here. I'm finding it very surreal having a laptop where the fans never come on, not even when playing light games.
I've been playing Half Minute Hero, which I had been meaning to play for ages.
Was tempted to pick up Deadly Premonition today but I'm still not sure about the Director's Cut. Am definitely going to get Binary Domain at some point though, as a fan of Nagoshi's work (I can't believe it's taken me this long though). |

| How are you finding Half Minute Hero? I just got through playing that, so you've probably been having my ghost times pop up during your playthrough of it. I enjoyed it, but found it a little repetitive towards the end.
Also, totally get you with what you're saying about the fans - it's such a little thing, but it makes a big difference to surfing the Internet! |

| I actually bought it on PSP but never played it much, so I've made the leap to this version because it was new and shiny and all that. But never played it much. Until now.
I agree about it being repetitive, there isn't much variety at the end of the day in terms of what you actually see and do, but I guess it is essentially a time management optimisation game (haven't tried any of the other modes). Or maybe not, as whether the game gives you a gold medal or not seems to not be related to how fast you can zip through a level, but how much you actually do within the level, hm... |

| It gets very grindy quickly.
The other modes are just one level deals. They're fun enough, gimmicky though. You should give Hero 3 mode a bash when you unlock it - it gives you a three second time limit to beat the level, really pushes your optimisation skills to the limit. |

| I was disappointed that they changed the other modes in the HD versions as I rather enjoyed the change of pace in the PSP version. I've never managed to beat the last mode on either version though (think it's 300 unless I've confused myself). |

| There's the 300 version, which is the final boss of sorts where all the heroes from the various modes team up. There's also the 3 version, which is a super hard 3 second time-limit level. |

| I've definitely seen both 300 and 3 so I must've never seen 3 |

| 3 unlocks after you beat 300 - 300 is basically the final level of the game. |

| It was bloody tough. Took me somewhere in the region of an hour to beat it, but it was so satisfying once I'd done so.

| So I caved in and bought Binary Domain, which has surpassed my expectations and is a pretty good PC port -- runs like a dream on my Surface!
Hero Mode 3 sounds like a lot of fun, so far I'm trying to attempt one level a day so I'll get there eventually. Hopefully before the PC version of Trails in the Sky is released. Looking forward to that, I am. |

You'll be at that a while. There's around 100 levels or so in the game. |

| ...oh. My incentive to continue has just fallen by quite a bit now! And the repetition has already set in at level 14!

| Looked it up, there's less than that - about 60 or so levels in the game. I think how repetitive it became made it longer in my mind. |

| I never felt much repetition myself. Maybe I just have more patience than I thought. |

| Started up Bastion! Enjoying it so far - but it would be a pretty basic action RPG if it weren't for the outstanding narration and visuals. |
