| Oh, there's dome side stuff? Now I'm intrigued. We talking thunder-, roller- or like a Crystal Maze deal?
Or, y'know, is it about giving dome? |

| MERRY CHRISTMAS BOIS
I'm at work, but I've enjoyed a nice extended christmas period. Plus, I'm only working three days this week and then I fly to Mexico. |

| Kerry Christmas everyone! Sorry it's a bit late, but enjoy Weird Week.
update: I'm not even going to correct the fact I wrote Kerry instead of Merry. Uh... just keep an eye on me, make sure I don't go wonky |

| Merry Christmas everybody. My day got off to a bad start when on early Christmas morning I stood in a dog shite so awful that I boaked on the street and had to leave my shoes outside overnight. It got better from there and had a really nice Christmas Day with my family…but then got worse again when I tested positive for COVID on Boxing Day. |

| Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you all had a good time, although it was a rotten Christmas by the sounds of things for Cappa. Hope COVID isn't kicking your arse too much.
Anyone get any nice presents? I got a fair haul of games this year - Super Mario Bros Wonder, Super Mario RPG, Crisis Core and Armored Core VI and a couple of books too. Got a Frankie Boyle crime novel which has started solidly and has been funny to boot, and got the third book in the Wheel of Time series.

| So only the Core Mario games for you then. Got some crime novels myself actually! Well, more spy novels, but crime does feature: two of the Slow Horses novels, of 'made into an Apple TV series' fame. Would recommend them to those who like their thriller sprinkled with a dash of humour, and apparently he's le Carré's son or grandson or something so the espionage is pretty authentic too. I also got Murdle which is like Wordle with murders I guess. And Mario RPG and WarioWare and chocolate and spirits and, er, bath towels. |

If it helps my 5 year old managed to step in both baby shite and baby piss on separate occasions last week whilst I was in the midst of changing nappies, it was hilarious. |

On the video game front I got Robocop rogue city, Super Mario rpg & Bomb rush Cyberfunk (also picked up Thumper & Trombone champ as they were on sale) as well as some pretty neat SNES coasters. |

| We put the tree up on the 2nd, and we have a little Hans Gruber countdown thing that my mum sent me. No chocolate advent this year, but we have plenty of chocolates from the UK and Mexico to get through . . .
Also, started my usual relisten to highlights from old TCGS GotY shows to hype myself up for the new one. |

| Picture of Hans Gruber thing? We have advent calendars from an independent chocolate shop in the town, ticking off yet another square in Middle Class Bingo (the board is a thousand squares each way). |

| I am thankful for the length.
One little niggle I have with TCGS and their GotY shows is they'll often absolutely shit the bed with one of their head to heads and then choose to remember it differently when they bring it up on other episodes. This is except for the RDR2 Vs. Astro Bot Resuce Mission which whilst I wouldn't agree with the choice I at least respected them for going with the heart pick which they now constantly go back on. |

Nope, I just remember all the good bits lol. I thought about editing a highlights package myself. Maybe I'll do it next year. - Quote :

Its the best bantz in games podcasting - its basically the only contemporary pod I have any time for - so I don't mind the length. I don't know what you think you have going on that makes you too good to listen to TCGS . . . |

Said before as I don't have to travel for work, that's where I know Balla listens to back page or whatever it's called, I believe.
Ohh and not super keen on the Millwall fan on TCGS but do like I want to say he's a bit of older chap out of them. |

| Hehe, I can see Dave being an acquired taste. To be honest, he used to play up the abrasive side of his character more and I preferred it then.
James is great, but he wouldn't be as funny without the others getting annoyed.
Both of them have been on my film podcast (and Sean!) and James was also on the Pokémon Legends Arceus special. |

| Is TCGS the one where they all ramp up the apparent aggression to each other? I might be confusing it with something else, but there's one bantz-heavy pod I've heard both lauded and talked about as a bit overly hostile in the same sentence. I figure from the above that it might be TCGS.
I only really listen to podcasts when I'm walking, and boring walks at that. On the train part of my commute I play visual novels videogames. |

| Aye, I’m getting geared up for Christmas too. The tree went up at the start of the month and the house is a little bit decorated. Much less so than everybody else in the street though, which is making me and my bit look at bit Scrooge-like.
I had the work’s night out at the end of last week and now I’m all finished for Annual Leave until January 6th as well. That's why I'm posting at 8am on a Monday morning, lying in my scratcher and eating a yum yum, and not manically looking for wherever the fuck I've put my work keys and pass. I’ve got a few days away and a few nights out planned between next weekend and Christmas Day, before hopefully having a nice quiet Christmas with no unusual incidents or strange people turning up.
I’ve learnt not to put all the emphasis on Christmas Day itself. That’s the last three years where I’ve been really unwell on December 25th, so I’m trying to spread everything out more throughout the month. |

| The Christmas feeling is creeping in, though it snuck up on me a bit. This week will be Christmas lessons at work, then next week I have six days of the winter immersion course followed by six days off. Mercy's brother and Sister have just rolled up and they're gonna stay here one month and two months respectively, so that will add to the feeling a little bit. - The Cappuccino Kid wrote:

This is something I've very much learned to do, especially living in Asia where Christmas is not as culturally significant an event and not even guaranteed as a day off. We have plans to cook on the 22nd, order food on the 25th, do other stuff over new year and so on. |
