They wouldn't have to rework the stats, or at least wouldn't have to modify the GB ROMs- Bank itself could convert them at the server or even app level. |

| Oh, I dunno. Uneducated:
Nintendo's 2014 Nearly all remaining 3rd party WiiU games are downscaled and ported to 3DS. Smash Bros. to come out at the very tail end of the year (around the 23rd Nov. mega-date). Positively received and a few more people do buy a WiiU, despite the backlash after January's "Namco involvement reveal month" (Mappy as playable character, ATs are PacMan and Ivy's bum) Nintendo skip a big E3 conference again this year; however Directs continue to be awesome. A trailer disappoints when it looks like it might be Starfox from the preceding description, only to show as Ice Climbers HD. 12 Pikmin 3 DLCs, one for every month. Nintendo realise this is as close to a cash cow as possible. Precisely 3 adverts will be shown on UK TV for Nintendo products. Despite the current policy for revealing games later, we actually get a 15-second Zelda clip. The actual finished game (2016) will look nothing like this. NSMBU2
Sony's 2014 As is. Everyone likes the AC / Uncharted update.
Microsoft's 2014 MS release a patch to make it easier to switch Kinect off semi-permanently. It still won't work any better because HOW CAN IT - THINK ABOUT WHAT IT DOES. HOW CAN THAT NOT GO WRONG IN MOST CIRCUMSTANCES. I AM SICK OF THIS PLANET
Other multi-format blarbings The Indie Retro craze continues its own retro-timeline. Many games get PS1-style super-jagged polygons. Elder Scrolls VI: Black Marsh announced. Based on the boring place with the lizard people. 80% of the characters sound like Vincent Price. FIFA '15 to have Andros Townsend on the cover, thus jinxing his international career forever. Minecraft 1.8-1.10 to come out. (I could probably actually research this, but... lazy). |

| Some games will probably be released in 2014!
Too vague?
Alright, Yarn Yoshi will be the best game on Wii U next year. Donkey Kong 3 receives HD remake treatment. Nintendo cancels Pokémon franchise. Nintendo bins Wii U and goes back to Wii. Mario Kart 8 becomes most infuriatingly unfair Mario Kart to date. (Alright, so only two of those were serious. Guess which two.)
New 3DS model announced, or at least hinted at. |

I'd be over the moon about this! So long as they gave us some really huge sprawling mountains to climb, I think it'd be excellent. |

I'd be over the moon about this! So long as they gave us some really huge sprawling mountains to climb, I think it'd be excellent. Actually, I would too - it'd practically count as a new IP. But the internet would be, like: "nintendo i want a startfox wiiu plz could you mak this insted of ice climers i hope this advice is helpful" Off topic rant imminentI actually say someone's "you should make this" comment in the Smash Bros Miiverse community end with him saying "I hope this advice is helpful". Like Sakurai's going to go "Thanks 10-year-old kid! I may have 20 years of creating successful video game franchises, but your suggestion to add every obscure character from every game is a winner! Oh, by the way, this'll take 12 years to make. That OK? Oh, you want it now. I see." |

Yeah, I think Iwata is even safer now they've bought $1 billion of shares back, giving the shareholders even less power. |

Wrong in the best way possible? Wrong in the best way possible. Still, I'm sure that I'll be half-right in that people will decide that releasing the 3DS version in summer will cause the end for Nintendo. ...No I didn't, shush. I just said SSBU was hindered from the off. |

Completely wrong about Smash! Not only is the 3DS version out ahead of the U version, it also has full online. Oh well.... |

MK8 to lift Wii U sales... a little bit. Reaches number 7 in the charts, below a gaggle of shootybang games and annual re-releases. Wrong! Although there are at least three annual re-releases in the chart (including CoD), MK8 beat all of them! Although it did fall to a shootybang game, but as it's a very well-received shootybang game released on every (non-Nintendo ) platform under the sun, there's little shame in that.
