Exclusives since God of War (2018) seems to be the talk of the town.

Yeah, the fighting scene is a strange beast, DLC characters do make the most sense but how likes of Namco are doing it with SCVI isn't great compared to how Nintendo handled SMASH4.
Jim is very much entitled to his opinion and sure he gets some things right like his views on BotW and some wrong like that.

Shenmue 2 is probably the more interesting game since its narrative is faster paced while offering more fun environments and activities to engage with during each day. But at least Jim acknowledges some of that in his impressions video. I did notice that he is playing the game in 1080p, which does a disservice to the rather simple graphics. The blocky textures and low-poly models look smooth and defined in standard definition, or on an old CRTV, but now appear highly flawed when viewed through an ultra-sharp lens. A bit like standing at the front of a theatre production and seeing all the trickery up close.

I bloody love Commetocracy and I'm glad it's back. Granted, it's drawing attention to the idiots out there, but at least it's soundly and entertainingly mocking them.

The recent episode on Bobby Kotick was great. You know how much I hate capitalists, firing him wouldn't even be enough in my revolution. The whole way through, though, I was willing him to bring up iwata and when he did I cried.

GNamer's art team need to get to work, horning up those pictures of Bobby.
(I know what you're thinking, but we all know that only one thing gives Bobby an erection: money.)

Great video! I really really hope this opens a lot of peoples eyes.
This is why I was so fucking annoyed in the games out in July thread for the shit Bethesda is pulling with Wolfenstein Youngblood, because since the success they had with Doom 2016 they quite clearly diving right into the deep end to see how much disgusting shit they can get away with & it looks like it will only continue with the story dlc stuff they have planned for Doom Eternal.

How do we know that the DOOM Eternal Story DLC won't be like Left Behind or Champions Ballard? And not like Prince of Persia or Asura's Wrath?
That's the thing some DLC can be good or some games can do it well within their structure but others don't, that's the problem and DLC now seems to be a bad word for everything.

We don't but Bethesda have already set a bad precedent with some of their recent games so I don't think it's unfair to be a bit wary of it, I hope I'm wrong because the game looks quality!

I was almost panicking today as it looked like they censored Final Fantasy VIII and I wouldn't be able to see some cleavage but they're not.
So panic over.
