I found my copy of Tetris last night. It really is buggered. Goodness knows what other people do with their games before they trade them in.

I have no idea how Tetris 2 differs from the original Tetris, and seeing as I'd forgotten it existed it probably is a classic.

Nah it's not a patch on the original, luckily I didn't pay a lot of money for it.

Tetris 2 had bombs in it, didn't it? Or was that something else? Also different shapes - tetrominoes where the squares weren't all connected to the main body? Never played it as I never wanted to, although I am sad they never followed it up with Tetris With A Vengeance.

I never got Tetris on the GameBoy, although I did get it on the 3DS. It was pretty good. I'd say for a certain generation though the majority of time spent on the GameBoy was thanks to Pokemon.
