Nintendo Not-E3 and General E3 2015 Thread

Yes for some as they've been waiting for Fallout 4 for a while, it be like if Sony show The Last Guardian or Ubisoft showing Beyond Good & Evil 2 they win E3 for me.

Aye, if it does happen I'll be happy of course but it's just an odd rumour with what I said above and also Mr Miyazaki has said in the past that he wouldn't like multiple Souls sequels.

So I'm taking said rumour with a pinch of salt.

Anyone else find it really odd that with E3 so close that 2 relatively big announcements (Fallout 4 & now the Uncharted trilogy beta thing) have happened in the last few days? I certainly do, surely it'd be better to wait and whip up a frenzy at the biggest gaming event there is?

Yeah, I was fully expecting Fallout 4 at Bethesda's conference - I figured that was the reason for them having a conference in the first place.

Would you really want a HD collection to take up time in a conference, it still be there but more likely only about a minutes worth after Uncharted 4 trailer going you can play the MP BETA if you pick up the Nathan Drake Collection (which isn't really that as it's missing Golden Abyss) on Oct 9th.

Aye, it's especially odd for Bethesda even if they plan to show a demo of some kind they could have waited unless of course they feel they have something bigger.

It's still a big announcement being dropped before the biggest gaming show there is though, I'm not saying dedicate 30 minutes to it in a conference just that if they waited it would have more eyes on it that it currently does.

It will still be a surprise fro some and tacking it on the end of the uncharted 4 demo on stage will likely will be enough.

I hope it also means Sony has a lot to show but I think it will be 3rd party heavy though.

Didn't Microsoft dedicate part of their conference to the Master Chief Collection when it was announced?

Yeah but it was the only actual gameplay they had that they could of shown

I assumed it was only announced because of the leak cock up. Fallout I did think was an odd one though, maybe they didn't want it overshadowing anything else they've got up their sleeves too much.

I think that E3 has reached both mass media appeal and is possibly burning up simultaneously. People are releasing info earlier in order to outdo each other, essentially seeing who blinks first. Nintendo might've had the right idea to jump from the ship.

But I'm still excited

Anyone else (primarily Ninty fans especially) finding it difficult to drum up hype for the actual games this year? Despite normal low-level hype for the conference and my day off etc., I really can't get excited for what's actually going to be shown. Not yet, anyway.

I'm sure it's partially due to the fact that the two most exciting Nintendo things, Zelda and the NX, have been confirmed as not being present.

The only thing I was really hyped for was Fallout 4... so yeah, no real hype for it now! Having said that, I'll still enjoy watching the conferences, especially if we've got a GNamer Skype text chat thing going again this year.

I'm definitely more hyped for talking with y'all and the general atmosphere than the games, agreed.

I'm hyped more for the event then the games as we kinda know what's going to be there.

But be fun to Skype chat and get some Podcasts going, which I'm looking forward to.

I feel that with all formats tbh as it seems like there might not be a lot of surprises with all the recent leaks, I really hope I'm wrong though and we can still be surprised.

The bastards at work have put me on the crap shifts which mean I miss the conferences/direct I want to see. And I left it too late to request a holiday too.

So the Dark Souls 3 rumour seems more real with each passing day, there goes another surprise announcement.

I was going to say first lot of rumors seemed rather real. To me this is the first surprise announcement /leak about this E3 which unfortunately if true means more 3rd party at Sonys conference.

I think they'd be stupid to not release a PC port - they sell like hotcakes on PC. The only reason I think that a PC version is "negotiable" is because Sony and/or Microsoft will be dropping money to keep it console exclusive. Looks good though.

I think it will be multiformat, but the first rumour was its at Sonys conference which makes sense as Sony has a relationship with From Software.

Yeah, I reckon it'll be there too. Still, considering the PC sales for Dark Souls II made up well over a third of their total sales, you'd hope they wouldn't forgo such a sizeable chunk of their audience.

And wit both ONE & PS4 being more like PCs shouldn't be much of issue either.

I just can't get hyped for Sony with what has been rumored at there conference though. Which is tons of 3rd party, uncharted 4, indie games okay it will include No Man's Sky but do we need to see it again.
