| Thanks for the feedback Jimbob but I asked for a specialist subject and used them this round based on the previous winners idea, as Jay had themes each time.
I thought this would be fair as you might win get your subject next time and get a bit of a point lead back, if someone doesn't know much about that subject, along with another incentive to win.
Plus I think I've kept the questions relatively broad as could have been even more about Splatoon like how much damage does this gun do, where I think most could have a decent guess with the ones I've done. |

You see, I already don't like that - because now that I've/you've mentioned it, and you've said "you never know, next time might be your specialist subject", and with only a dozen or so contestants, there's going to be a conscious (or at least subconscious) decision to include sets of questions that appeal to the knowledge of some those people - people you know well. I don't want you to feel like you'll need to skew the quiz to have a round on the history of the BBC Micro. That's not a criticism or a complaint about you, mas, because I believe you'd try and make it as fair as possible.

Yeah, I think this was my worry, you describing it as a specialist subject suggests that you could specify a unique thing. I know I also used the words "specialist subject", but I thought I was exaggerating for comic effect! Anyway, I think the fault is mine as I may have misinterpreted those words as such. And actually, this is a general theme rather than a subject, and that was probably true for the previous round, so I think I'm probably worrying about nothing. | Sorry to hear that especially as you won the last round about bosses (I thought it was rather mixed myself with super easy like Bowser and hard with Mega Man) or do you mean this round which should be part from the first round and the final round the most mixed as used everyone's suggestions to a degree.
That should be something you know about in these two rounds, well I thought people would know about Video Game bosses.
Least you've took part, that's the main thing as I didn't want another music round (why I went for the theme idea).
