EDIT: I had my own list but it was practically the same with a few things swapped about. That's a decent end to the year Nintendo has already had & even though Nintendo don't typically announce new games too far ahead of time I think their non e3 event will be for stuff in the first quarter of 2023.......maybe end with a banger of Bayonetta 3 is out October/December.

So we're three shows in now for this not E3, with 505 being awful and Evercade being fine, that always quite easy for PlayStation to have a good showing, yet what a showing.
Will talk on the Podcast but chatting yo the guys during it, I'm the most positive, CW in the middle and EofGiz thought meh he doesn't like horror.
I look at it, we had a good start REmake 4, middle SF6 and end FFXVI with a few things mixed in which was broken down like this
REmake 4. A big one to start with, which I'm not that bothered about, which seems odd as RE4 is my Top Games of All-time yet wasn't keen on REmake 2 and thought REmake 3 was awful (I've not been much on Village either). Then I feel the game still holds up, that part from graphics, not sure what a remake can do. However I know CW really likes the new Res Evil games, and has heard how good RE4 is that for someone like him, he wants REmake 4.
VR Stuff. I guess only me will be bothered about this but was quite short and showed a few good games with Horizon Call of the Mountain looking good.
Spider-Man on PC. Seen a lot of hubbub on this from both sets of fanboys, I'm a bit in the middle as the games have sold a combined 33m, it's 4 years old and done its job of selling the PS4 but might have been a bit cheesed off if bought a PS4 for it and was on PC right away. I see it more like Final Fantasy IX is now on Xbox or Switch, it sold the PS1.
Stray. Looks good and coming July with launching right into the new Plus levels. if the new Plus can get games like this and day & date much how games pass gets stuff from indies then feel the service might be worth having as someone who's played all the big hitters like God of War already.
Callisto Protocol. From Dead Space peeps and coming out before the Dead Space Remake from EA.
Rollerdrome. Thought it was a sable port to start with, it's a pass from me.
Eter Nights. A Mas ass game this from a guy who played Persona 5 loved it (then played P4G and P3) and decided to make his own.
Street Fighter 6. This looks weird especially with actually being on the street looking for a fight.
Tunic. Coming to PS after being Xbox, I did look no Switch version announced as of yet. I do feel this should be in the new Plus.
Seasons. A weird indie game which I am keen on, again feels would work for the new Plus.
Final Fantasy XVI. It looks so good and what I was most excited about after the event.
Yeah after all done I think I would maybe get REmake 4 at a push like if BotW2 is March then I'm getting that for instance, Stray day one via the sub, Eter Nights another at push depends when out, SF6 another at push like if cross-play I get on XSX and Jay PS5 I'm keen, Seasons it's a me game and the Final Fantasy XVI which is a day one for certain.

Ah yes, it was Splatoon 3 I forgot. That plus my games plus Advance Wars plus hopefully Bayo 3 is about enough to just about fill up the year with Nintendo titles. Fingers crossed we get some sort of event for E3 anyway, even if as Jas says it is focussing on Q1 2023.
My main bitterness about State of Play is that it revealed Tunic for PS, and that suggests it isn't coming to Switch. Honestly I'm not even sure I'd enjoy it that much (another indie Soulslike is it? ), but I'd like the opportunity to find out!

Pretty much, had like a handful of games I'm interested in, however Neon White already knew about for instance.
Devolver was excellent and so far the best show.

Skate Story looks like skateboarding crossed with Thumper and therefore immediately gives me mild PTSD.

From yesterday's shows all sort just fine, I personally enjoyed Tribeca but was keen on games shown
IGN Expo. A bit like Geoff's show trailers, then go back to host and repeat, with the highlight being Wanted: Dead.
Netflix Geeked Week: Games. Really short and had more Geoff, the highlight was Big the Cat is in Sonic Prime as unfortunately seemed all the games shown mobile with ports of stuff like Oxenfree.
Epic. Bad as didn't show like anything and was we've got games coming from Remedy, Playdead etc but nothing, not even concept art.
Tribeca Games Spotlight. Showed a lot I liked such as Oxenfree II and A Plague Tale Requiem, just maybe the length due to devs talking about the games would be the one issue.
Freedom Games. Close to IGN this, as a lot shown but nothing that stood out part from Broken Places for me.

Double Post
Not a huge amount from the 5 shows yesterday, a few of the same things, as I feel I've Callisto Protocol about 10 times now.
We had the big one today (till Nintendo does something) in Xbox, and it was just fine, nice to see 30 of the 31 games shown coming to Game Pass (might also change when MS buy Activision) and for the next 12 months (meaning Silksong in the next 12 months), but nothing was wow.
Like I know this is a better show and more content than lets say State of Play, but that had stuff like Resident Evil 4 where Xbox didn't have that part from maybe Persona (I've looked no word from Atlus on PlayStation 4/5 or Switch) ports coming and Kojima partnership.
However, guess come next year they can show a Hellblade II and go this is within the next 12 months and so on with the studios they've bought/buying.

Welp, I'm missing E3. I know that it's 95% an excuse for the suits to get together and shake their chequebooks around, but I'm missing the structure it brings. All eyes on the gaming world for a week, everybody shows off their biggest and best (and least likely to be actual gameplay) news items, and knowing that a Nintendo show will actually happen. This year's been a mess.

It has been a bit of a mess but as someone watching at home, I really don't think it's been any different and from what I've heard peeps that have gone hands on with games preferred the SGF set-up.
Next year will be interesting indeed though, as will companies like a Capcom want to pay ESA when they can just do thier own thing or do something with Geoff.
I wouldn't be surprised if even more of a mess because of that, and you end up with some partnering with Geoff, some with the ESA and others doing what they want.
Wouldn't put past Nintendo to be ones to do what they want, as them going, likely on the 29th this year with no one around them, can own it.

There was finally an announcement I cared about this year!
A really nice little interview feature with the original creators and then the announcement: Dragon's Dogma II.
It's probably a couple of years away yet, but I'm really excited to see this be properly bonkers fun.

Ah, I'd forgotten about this website from last year! That's great. Once everything's finished, I'll then sit down and squint at it in one go.
Which I guess it... has? We're just waiting on Ninty, right?

Well Focus Home have an event coming up looking at A Plague Tale Requiem, then everything else is after June, that yeah I say it's done.
I did have to rank off all the events as I watched them all, and what we talked about on the Podcast recently are favourite ones, well since then been some more and I feel these were the best shows and things at them.
Best Port: Well it's going to be the Persona games coming to Xbox/PC and two of three coming to PS4/5, then hopefully news on them to Switch as well.
Best Remaster: Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion, easy choice as one of my favourite games of all-time.
Best Remake: The answer should be Res Evil 4, but I'm more excited for System Shock as a fan of BioShock I want to see where it all started.
Best VR/AR/Mobile/Cloud/Retro/Other: Few neat things in each here, like Horizon Call of the Mountain for PSVR2 looking good. Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis, I'll be tempted to download and have look at on my phone, knowing it is the complete mainline FFVII story. Limited Run showing they're bringing D back for 3DO because why not.
Best Expansion/DLC: A flip of coin here, either Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels which is out in July or Monster Hunter Sunbreak which out in 12 days.
Best Multiplayer: Fall Guys? I honestly don't care that much, as the Multiplayer games I want to play are likes of Sunbreak and Splatoon 3.
Best PC: I kinda want to say SteamDeck as a lot of indies shown and even FFVII Remake is playable on it, that a lot I may play on it and if like a tech award then I'd jive to SteamDeck. Games wise just for PC, then The Alters from the trailer we've seen.
Best Xbox: Much like PC the answer feels like it should be Game Pass because Persona, Silksong, A Plague Tale Requiem to name a few will all be in it. However, games wise SCORN maybe, like wasn't much that looked that good just for the Xbox ecosystem.
Best PlayStation: Easy Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, oddly feel PlayStation had a good Not E3 without really doing much part form a 3rd party State of Play as most shown in these events are multiformat and then The Last of Us Part I, FFVII Rebirth, FFXVI did get a showing.
Best Nintendo: Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak, wasn't a much of choice till we get an actual Direct and then Sunbreak looks darn good.
Best New IP: Plucky Squire, which also gets Best Indie and Best Multiplatform game.
Most Disappointing: Not a lot was disappointing as feel got to take things into account of what's happened/ing in the world that not seeing a Hellblade II is disappointing but not in the grand schemes of things, especially when Xbox shows like 40+ games coming to Game Pass.
Best Surprise: Well Final Fantasy VII Rebirth as I didn't think we would see it, as I went into that event thinking it be look at the tat you can buy & games you can play on mobile.
Top 3 Showings 3rd Xbox, just because they had games and sure I might not want to play them all yet 40+ in Game Pass and pacing of the show gets Xbox is a podium finish. 2nd Final Fantasy VII 25th Anniversary Event (Or Square as they did show XVI as well), as I said about surprise I wasn't expecting to come away thinking I'll be playing Crisis Core Reunion this winter and then FFVII Rebirth next. 1st Devolver, only a few games shown but all look good and the show itself is just great.
Honourable to Tribeca as every game they showed I will play, and I liked how the show was done, however all the games part from Oxenfree II (I think) turned up elsewhere.
Game of the Show: Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, well that was easy with Plucky Squire and Crisis Core Reunion taking 2nd & 3rd.
Worst Showing: NetEase who showed one game, which would have been fine if they said beforehand like what Focus Home is doing with A Plague Tale Requiem, but no they didn't. 505 and the Sonic thing also not great.
Dishourable: Was a lot of okay shows which kinda blended into one of here's 50 indie games as well which doesn't help any of them stand out, and then I feel I saw The Callisto Protocol seven times.
What about you guys?

Nah, System shock is definitely the right choice here as even though I think RE4 remake will still be well received I don't think Capcom will get anywhere close to how great damn near perfect the original is.
