PES is dead, eFootball goes free-to-play

Kinda weird that soon PES and FIFA will both be dead, replaced with "eFootball" and "EA Sports FC", both shit names.

I've given waiting for this to come good now, I redownloaded it when it relaunched, played a couple of games and soon lost interest, it just feels like the soul had been ripped out of it and with only really the Ultimate Team style mode available it doesn't feel worth it. I even downloaded FIFA 22 to replace it (and had zero urge to play it). I played the most recent PES towards the tail end of last year and had a good enough time with that so if you've got the itch to play then that's still a fair shout.

FIFA will be back though likely front 2K, as Take Two have shown interest.

As I posted a few posts ago, going to have soon 4 options for football and Mario Strikers will be the best one.

That can only be a good thing if it gives EA competition, surely?

Yeah if FIFA 2K, EA Sports FC, eFootball and UFL all can only make other better.
